Hi All: Thanks for the responses to yesterday's early morning queries
gilesF: Thanks for your detailed response, and in particular the reassurance that comes from knowing that as a heavily committed investor, you are talking to GS.
Nearly 90, I'm hoping to confound the actuaries and follow Robert Marchant, who at 108, is the current holder of the world's veteran endurance cycling record - 15 m/hr. There's also a guy, nearly my age who competes in the Alcatraz triathlon challenge, which to me looks tougher than the marathon.
I'm writing at this hour of the morning, mid-way through my Zopiclone night medication, when I get up for a stretch and maybe a spell on the rowing machine. Been hampered during the winter by Arthritis and Shingles, but now over it I think.
I was hoping to catch you up in the ALGW stakes, but have only managed to acquire 4M up till now. Maybe I'll sell the dogs in the portfolio to continue to pile in. Hopefully onwards and upwards.

According to the links & info at the top of this thread, the shares traded in the US, are under to epic 'ALPGF'. But - so far as ADVFN is concerned, nothing ever happens - no trades, no price movement, or graphs are ever apparent.

Today was a good day of consolidation, nobody should expect daily rises like we have had over the last few sessions. I think we are now about ready to make a significant move upwards. I think the remainder of this week will be pivotal in the Alpha story as we progress towards big news

It was a sell, I had a quote, just after, at 14:21 5.1220/5.2644. On the day, correcting all the errors on ADVFN's trades list, we came out about even with about 3 million shares both bought and sold.

It's delayed at mid, it's only 650k so not worth worrying about, quite alot of selling pressure today, we could do with some news tomorrow or we may see the mms trying a shake, we are certainly due one as we have doubled the share price in a short time.Much prefer 2-4% a week than the 100% we have seen over these last few days but that fault lies with the useless mms.

Sold 45,000 at 5.33 this morning, just bought 50000 at 5.184.

This is definitely a re-rating as opposed to an over-zealous trading spike. With more news in the offing I have no idea where the new trading range might be.
Sometime shares do go up in a straight line eg SBTX.
At least for a while.

Completely disagree with that I'm afraid, unless there's suddenly a cure for all disease, smoking is eradicated and life expetancy rises by 5 years, all extremely unlikely, as with the bookies the software and analysis they use means even breaking even is highly highly unlikely, of course the fund can be mismanaged but the regulations in place will prevent even that.The only question is how much money will they make imo.
