Dipped my toe in today

Hope I don't bring you bad luck ! ... I like the business model and the likely increasing demand for such products.

Low interest rates are here forever .. too much debt and any increase will shut the world down and we will have to turn the lights off.

So strategy and investment case look rock solid for many years IMHO

Anyone have any thoughts of revenue forecasts

The published bid / offer by the MMs for a market size trade (100k shares for ALGW) are the numbers used to calculate whether a trade is a buy or sell. However with thinly traded shares like ALGW the published spread can be very wide, much wider than the quote you would get if you go onto your brokers e-dealing system. Because of this the 'guess' that is made as to whether a trade is a buy or a sell is often incorrect. It is not meant to deceive it's just a product of the system used.

Is this lack of transparency around whether a transaction is buy or sell by design? Surely marking a trade as one or the other is the easiest thing a computerised system could record?

That's odd I can see 1m traded that's not showing on the total, looks like a 500 and 250 sell followed by a 250 buy.

I don't think you'll see a return to 3p as there seems to be one or more people accumulating. Every time there is a sell of 100k+ shares it is followed soon after by a similar buy.

The actual wording re next update was:
We have now identified opportunities for direct asset purchases and will update our shareholders during April.
I doubt very much that the update will come before the last week of April.

We usually have a quarterly update which should be end of March but it’s always a few days late. I’m expecting that to drop this week with progress on the funds in boagf

This closing ut tactic should be outlawed, it totally kills a stock dead for the next trading day. Algw is now flat yet showing as 9% up. It also has consequences, what if you need to submit accounts that evening, and does it trigger margin calls.
