Alpha's Chief Actuary, Rajiv Rebello, initiated and will continue to publish articles and white papers on the asset class...

The Group's core strategies and product suites continue to attract the attention of prospective clients.

The most significant quarterly milestone for the Group was the launch of the BlackOak Alpha Growth Fund ("Fund"). The Fund is a Cayman Island Limited Partnership with a Master/Feeder structure. There is an Irish Designated Asset Company that is between the Master and Feeder that provides tax advantages for investors in the Feeder from certain jurisdictions. Creating the structure in this way enables the fund to be able to accept international investors - giving the Fund a truly global reach and relevance to a wider audience.
The creation of the structure was carefully constructed by Gobind Sahney and Danny Swick in close coordination with the Company's legal advisors in the US, Caymans, and Ireland, along with KPMG, the Fund's global tax and audit accountants. We are pleased to be working with SL Investment Management ("SLIM") and hope to build further on that relationship going forward. The Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Alpha Longevity Management ("ALM"), is the investment manager for the Fund and the Group in joint venture with SLIM, we are each equal general partners. ALM receives the annual management fee and the Company will receive the performance fee.

Gobind Sahney, CEO
Well I think that if any investment professionals that are not aware of longevity assets said "Hey I want to buy a life settlement, I am sure that they could google it and come up with it but you (they) won't necessarily know what you are buying or how you are going to buy it: what the process is..so that's why we are in business and one of the interesting things about life settlements is the legal, accounting, tax, actuarial complexities and so you need to know who and you need to know who is good to go to...

goto: settlement actuarial_R_Us…;

Rajiv is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and prior to Colva worked on AIG's 4,000+ policy life settlement portfolio with $18 billion in face.

Euclid, it's just an average from his $8billion of life settlement trading over 13 years.

To clarify, this was his life settlement trading prior to joining algw.

Looks like Danny Swick has been dealing with life settlements for 13 years (Kango & LDA) with his trading averaging over $600million per year. He is very familiar with the requirements for the trading volume ahead.

Danny Swick, Chief Operating Officer:
"I'm very pleased to be joining Alpha at this exciting time in their journey and the relevance of the asset class to modern institutional alternative investors in desperate search of a yield with secured asset backed instrument. The Company has a unique and relevant product offering for institutional and sophisticated investors and is well positioned with its international reach, industry connectivity and existing new business pipeline, which I intend to add to as well as execute on over the coming months."

Gobind Sahney, Executive Chairman:
"We are delighted to announce the appointment of Danny. He brings a wealth of experience and industry relationships to the team having traded over $8 billion worth of life settlement policies through his career. His reputation and relationships in the industry provides Alpha with the ability to execute its business plan in an efficient manner and scale with the mandates under consideration."

"we are fortunate to have Danny Swick, our COO, who is one of the leading if not the top market market makers in life settlements in the US before he joined Alpha and so we are pleased to say that product resourcing is not an issue....we know how to find the right assets and, of course, we know how to buy them."
