A few points to summarise:

1. Alpha has probably the top life settlements market maker, Danny Swick, with $8Billion of trading experience.
2. Alpha with SLIM has in-house actuarial expertise specific to life policies - a quality not found in usual settlement businesses
3. The above two points are validated in the progress towards $100million credit facility
4. Points 1&2 are inlet and processing. Austin King, with extensive connections has been brought in for the outlet; the sales.
5. KPMG has validated a 16.2% annualised return on this uncorrelated asset
6. "this uncorrelated asset": the asset class is not affected by general market
7. Alpha has structured a tax-efficient system which will bring in global investors
8. Black Oak fund has already received commitments for seed capital of $15 million
9. The market is absolutely massive at $19Trillion with $57Billion policies lapsing each year
10. Only $2.8Billion of policies are settled each year. The $57Billion lapsing is there to be taken.
11. The market will climb over the next 10years as baby boomers retire
12. Note the wave retiring is more tech-savvy, internet dependent: ideal for targeted marketing
13. Point 12 also means that social media / marketing will build life settlement awareness
14. Perhaps THE key point: Life settlement is a great option, far better than surrender or lapsing
15. The $100million credit facility could be used to buy $500m of face value and repeated 4x per year
16. Alpha has assembled the best in class to manage this specialist business
17. Legislation is already present in 6 states to ensure life policy holders are made aware of the settlement option.
18. 2019 Annual report: "..For 2020, we expect to be generating material revenues and as 2019 closes, at the date of this report, the company has approximately £450,000 of cash balances, so the group is very well positioned as we move into this new phase.."

£450,000 cash balance going forward

$100million revolving credit facility about to be inked with asset manager.

A sea of blue, haven’t seen that for some time, a good indication of the confidence of future potential here.

There are lots of severely undervalued shares at the moment, hopefully this turns out to be one of them! It only requires a few to work out for a portfolio of such shares to do really well. That’s my strategy anyway.

I believe the 100m facility is just the start, into the new year I would expect it to be increased as is often the case in this sector.

Most importantly the $100m facility which has been in negotiation for over a year is almost at an end.2020 should see huge growth here.Gobind Sahney, Chairman of Alpha, commented: "Working with the counterparty to establish this warehouse facility, has been a detailed and long process that results in our ability to take significant positions in the asset class and multiply the returns for the long term. Not to mention that it has validated Alpha's methodologies and skills with a sophisticated investor, as stated we expect to close this warehouse facility within the coming weeks. The addition of the "warehouse" we believe will have a material impact on our business going forward.""I and the team will be in London before and after the holiday breaks to progress the above and our other strategies. I look forward to updating the market shortly on the other aspects of the business as we further validate and improve the offering across our various revenue channels, with the addition of new personnel we are seeing increasing appetite and interest to the funds and will be updating the market in the very near term."

There are large numbers of mining exploration companies that may be decades away from cash generation, but they get their accounts signed off without difficulty. Solgold is valued around £400 min if I recall correctly, but may never make a penny!

This then worries me of how the auditors can say the company is a going concern & sign off the accounts, as little revenue is coming in & we're reliant on future promises of Income. And yes, I do have a holding here.

Jungmana- net cash position is £173,941. Salaries bill is £328,585, so enough cash for about 5 months to cover Directors & other business costs. There is a figure of Trade & receivables of ££243,486, but this isn't guaranteed like hard card cash in the bank.

Based on remunerations alone there is enough cash for whole of 2020.Good results there and 2020 promises to be the year of ALGW.One of my star picks for the new year.

Indeed, but we all know the risks of investing in this kind of pre-revenue business: high risk, potentially very high reward. Unlike most penny shares, this business is scalable without generating additional cost, and the IP of the staff gives it something of a “moat”, at least in the short to medium term. Worth a punt.

'just take them by their word', done that too many times with penny stocks only to see them collapse.

Salaries aren’t excessive. One has to just take them by their word that they expect to be break even before year end, if one believes in the business of course. I’m more interested in their performance incentives, which remain unknown.
