I think this deserves investigation by the Authorities

From the offer doc.;

"the Company has announced several key milestones over the last 18
months. However the Independent Directors believe that the Company's share price performance has not reflected the delivery of these milestones; and

* Alltracel is likely to have funding requirements in the short to
medium term in connection with acquisition opportunities and the Independent
Directors believe that the public capital and debt markets may not be willing to
support or finance such opportunities at an acceptable level and on appropriate
terms at this time."

WTF kind of reason is that to sell the company on the cheap. Just release the fiqures for '07 and give us a trading update on how Synpart is adding to revenues - then let the market judge.

I see Richardson has managed to keep his snout in the trough.

This will not pass at the EGM

This is nothing short of a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!! Are they honestly saying that the company is worth less than its value at the last agm, bearing in mind the addition of Synpart in the meantime. We are being royally shafted and there is no way I'm going to roll over on this - give us some sort of fair value at least.

RayRac I am not saying I agree, I am merely suggesting that this is the most likely figure that would be offered based on the presumption that the numbers are growing at a steady but not stellar rate.

Every shareholder except the very recent is nursing losses at 16p and is unlikely to fold, until that price is quadrupled! IMO

Goodbodys say it is worth 22p using the Discounted Cashflow calculation assuming they are making this assessment based solely on the revenue numbers - not that they were released at the end of 2007 - It is unlikely that they are calculating the upside of any future revenues from either Nano, Phyto or even Cardio, so a bid based on the numbers alone can't be allowed through. Though I still believe a bid of 16p is the most likely at this stage.

alimo - agree with everything you say. We have gone much further than plasters that stop bleeding.

The Nanopeutics deal has opened up a whole new world- as the patent says - five times more effective with no increase in cost (twice as good at half the price)

Then theres the cosmetics and cholesterol fields as well which are equally big. Can't blame anyone for wanting to get their hands on the technology. Just don't want to see it stolen.

Are you sure you were logged in (screen changes to give option to "log out" where it previously said "log in") Agree, it is old and I think he was refering mainly to the original investors - just unfortunate in these circumstances - what price loyalty?

Wes I have been saying this for months. Blaming shareholders is like blaming a victim of a crime by saying they asked for it.

"Where there's smoke, there's fire"

This is fom the Irish Independent 22/1/08

"Weekend press reports had suggested that Alltracel's management would make a bid for the firm, whose chief executive is Tony Richardson. Yesterday the company said the approach had been received from a third party. However, it's possible that management could still show an interest in making a play for the firm."

Then there is the share price manipulation (IMO)

Then there is lack of information from the Company(compared to previously)

Then there is the stoppage of paid-for info from the likes of Nutraingredients et al. Last article was 20/July/2007

Then there's Tony Richardson blaming shareholders for sp
(check out )

Then there is the non-reporting of a key patent

Well with this management I think you need viagra, not dough, to make them rise up to deliver anything :-)

Just how much needs to be discussed, in these discussions? Whoever has their eyes on us, must have been showing plenty of interest over a considerable time. You don't consider spending £millions without making darn sure what your wanting to buy, is worth it. By the time you even make an offer, your pretty convinced that you need what you have your eyes on. Surely then the only thing to sort out is the price and whether (a) you can be trusted to deliver it, and (b) the shareholders will be satisfied they are getting full value. I'm not convinced a cash offer will deliver full value to AP.

Personally I'm still bullish on all the products because I've seen how well the under described SBF plasters and spray perform (and I'm really looking forward to the nano version hitting the shelves this year). We haven't got anywhere near our full potential from marketing the additional products that are supposed to be coming on stream. So I'm more in favour of a merger where we are NOT swallowed up by some conglomerate where we will lose sight of all our intellectual property. Our directors should be sniffing out a company that will benefit from our IP, and has the financial muscle and vision to take us and make us into the market leaders we want to be. In fact a merger where we both win and the share price goes on to reflect the future growth potential from sales of all the IP. There's still much more up the AP. sleaves, but we have to have the right yeast to make the dough, grow.

Nice one Buywell. Do they want to buy AP?

It seems that whoever is looking at buying it got sucked into "Late Stage Discussions" that as we know could go on indefinitely :-)

Alimo the issue is that there are no salesmen in Alltracel. That is the reason why they can't close a single revenue generation deal, but they can buy cashflow.

Was reading the last Interim figures and see that we have huge expenses for Sales and Distribution, and Administration. Wonder what they spend so many millions on. It doesn't seem to get any better as we grow - so do we have to bribe our customers to buy? If management could just crack those expenses on the head, we might start to make some real profits.
Was checking if AMS are any better - and it seems they are a wee bit worse.

Is that where they put the R&D expenditure? If so, surely we can go a little canny on that now that we have produced the products with real potential. We need to spend on GIFTED salesmen to sell them into what must be THE most competitive of markets. We surely know by now that they won't sell themselves, no matter how good they are.

Glad to see you found a gem Wes1. Another reason not to sell out too soon, and for pennies.
