25/10/2017 16:29 | i wonder if this is causing a rumble ? today ? | dreamtwister
25/10/2017 13:56 | Ps Blue Jay (JAY) who are developing the ilmenite prospect next door to Alba's in Greenland has a market cap of £163m based predominantly on the progress that they've made in Greenland towards production.....Alba has a market cap of only £9m yet have similar potential as Blue Jay as far as the ilmenite is concerned, but they also have the Graphite that has been confirmed as the highest quality anywhere in the world, as well as the near term upside on the potential commerciality of the Weald oil Basin assets.....i expect even the most ardent detractor can see the upside potential....unless of course their agenda is snide dishonest and corrupt....Gla holders....a multi-bag in the making.;-) | moneymunch
25/10/2017 13:44 | you are an idiot | elcapital2017
25/10/2017 13:42 | Nothing wrong with a fund raise for the development of a companies prospects for increased shareholder value....Alba has just had one...they raised £1.1m in August and therefore are fully funded for all of their near term cash commitments, including the acquisition of Rgm's Horse Hill's interests if that is agreed, especially now that HH flowtests aren't expected until after Broadford Bridge flow tests are completed , which takes us into Q1 2018, along with any cash call on Brockham's production which isn't going to happen until Q1 2018 as well , according to today’s Rns...winter is hitting Greenland and so no near term drilling or exploration work likely.....and therefore no fund raise required for Alba anytime soon imho.....in the meantime good news from BB's flow tests will add value here and no doubt significant value on confirmation of commercial flow, and of course further updates are expected on Greenland following the recent surveys and sampling as well as potential Regulatory news from Greenland on the advancement of Alba projects....Gla holders....Alba prospects and potential look very attractive from this bargain low share price and tiny market...On and Up!!!;-) | moneymunch

25/10/2017 07:38 | Best to get formalities out of the way, obtaining planning permission will strengthen their position and save time later. It was a suggestion by SCC not a demand. | 7767
25/10/2017 07:21 | Placating and keeping the jobsworth's at SCC happy.....and Angus Energy will perform conventional oil production at Brockham Oil Field from the Kimmeridge Layers in Q1 2018......around about the same time Horse Hill extednded flow tests get underway....Gla Holders.....all eyes on BB....;-) | moneymunch

25/10/2017 07:05 | ("Angus Energy" or the "Company") Operations Update - Brockham Angus Energy, a conventional oil and gas development company, has received a letter from the Surrey County Council ("SCC") suggesting that the Company submit a planning application for the operations at the Brockham Oil Field associated with well BR-X4 and its inclusive sidetrack BR-X4Z. This is the first formal request or formal notice received by Angus Energy either prior to or in the 7 months since 9 March 2017. Angus Energy's guidance from its RNS 23 October 2017, 22 September 2017 and 11 May 2017 remains unchanged. After a careful and considered review, the Management team and Board of Directors of Angus Energy will, as Operator of the licence, submit a normalisation application for the continued surface activities of the production plant required for well BR-X4 and notably, its inclusive sidetrack BR-X4Z. The Board has determined this application - submitted without predjudice - is a prudent and pragmatic step in the best interests of all stakeholders. The Company reiterates it has all the required permissions from all of its regulators to continue production at the Brockham Oil Field including the Kimmeridge layers. In taking this intermediate step, the Company has not relinquished any rights or further options at its disposal to protect shareholders. The Company has worked with the SCC throughout this process and will continue to do so without exception. Both parties continue to maintain a professional relationship and on-going communications. Subsequent to the Company's RNS of 23 October 2017, Angus Energy will perform conventional oil production at Brockham Oil Field from the Kimmeridge Layers in Q1 2018. Statement from The Board of Directors: "The Board of Angus Energy does not take any decision concerning our shareholders lightly. We are confident our actions today have been given thoughtful consideration and fully expect this intermediate step to have minimal impact on our current business plan. We look forward to continued communication and cooperation between Angus Energy and the Surrey County Council." | moneymunch

24/10/2017 20:55 | ilmenite mineral sands greenland..... a geological survey published by the Danish and Greenland governments in the last fortnight has suggested the region in which Pituffik is located could be home to 17bn tonnes of pure ilmenite. If those figures are true, Greenland could soon find itself at the top of world titanium feedstock reserves, and the strategic priority of miners. good prospects for jay/alba !! | dreamtwister
24/10/2017 17:30 | 9 April 2017 • Daily Telegraph April 2017 Aim-listed Bluejay Mining is set to declare the discovery of the “world’s purest ilmenite deposit” in Greenland. Ilmenite, a form of titanium-iron oxide, is the key ingredient in white paint. It is also increasingly used in 3D printers. Mining minnow Bluejay will report that the resource at its Pituffik deposit is the purest in the world, with 23.6 million tonnes at 8.8pc ilmenite. Moreover, it has only conducted studies on 17pc of the resource, suggesting that the deposit could in fact be the biggest in the world. All bodes well MM you are correct, Blue Jay do not have any Graphite interests,B | 25wbh
24/10/2017 17:09 | Hi 25wbh, i don't think Blue Jay has any graphite in Greenland, their main focus is ilmenite and some Titanium in another license area.....Alba has recently acquired an ilmenite prospect next door to Blue Jay's which all bodes well, Blue Jay are already ahead in developing their ilmenite production and so they would be the perfect JV for Alba given the proximity or a JV on any major JV suitor that Blue Jay might attract. Gl ;-) ps Alba's Amitsoq graphite is on an island, and the old graphite mine exported graphite by boat and the harbour facilities are still in place, which no doubt will be utilised if the prospect is taken to production....the new graphite discovery is on the mainland but very close to the shore and Amitsoq Island. Gl ;-) pps Blue Jay's market cap is now £165m.....and Alba's £10m.....undou | moneymunch
24/10/2017 16:39 | Blue jay also had a good afternoon, their rise started in the afternoon There deposits of Graphite have better shore access than Alba,s but these problems can be overcome if the demand rises Alba could do with a "Farm out" with someone in the industry,to help finance the project | 25wbh
24/10/2017 16:02 | 26/9/17 George Frangeskides, Alba's Executive Chairman, commented: "I am excited by the exploration results for the Kalaaq Mainland Discovery. As we perform additional work in this new discovery zone, we continue to expand the area of graphite mineralization, and identify zones of structurally thickened mineralization. The present study indicates that the mineralization remains open to the south, and the down-dip extensions remain untested." "We were already very encouraged by this year's work at Amitsoq, in and around the former mine site on Amitsoq Island. However, this discovery of a whole new graphite deposit on the mainland portion of our licence represents more than just a "bonus"; it could be a real game changer for the economic viability of the Project overall". | moneymunch |
