17/10/2017 10:17 | Thanks moneymunch. I shall ponder. Others are keener, volume is good. | uncle john

17/10/2017 09:56 | SCC have been sitting on the application for over a year, approval was expected early this year but SCC wanted more information and assurances...Ukog have been exemplary and have done everything by the book and so I would be amazed if the application isn't approved...a yes from SCC would be a significant material Key event , and with flowtests tests expected to be underway this quarter, I wouldn't be surprised to see the share price testing this year's earlier highs and more on approval confirmation. Gl ;-) Horse Hill In September, proposals for a new Horse Hill programme received approval from the Environment Agency. The approval will allow the programme to test the HH-1 well, as well as drill a side-track to HH-1 and the new HH-2 well. The Horse Hill partners, separately, await planning permission for the project an application was submitted in October 2016 and it is anticipated that a decision will be made by the Surrey County Council planning committee on October 18 2017. It is expected that the new Horse Hill programme will get underway in the fourth quarter, on the basis that the project secures the necessary remaining approvals. | moneymunch
17/10/2017 09:47 | momunch, 25wbh and others. Do you know if the Councillors have a tendency to follow advice of officers and is it the same people who have had to decide on other oil/gas/quarrying in their backyard? I am new to this one, so adrift on the background and would appreciate comments from the more informed folk. | uncle john
17/10/2017 09:07 | Your in good company Gismo, MM has a huge amount and RR and myself hold substantial amounts , so good luck with your investment B | 25wbh
17/10/2017 09:06 | Ps and fully funded for their near term development plans including HH's extended flowtests, from August's £1.1m fund raise. Gl.;-) | moneymunch
17/10/2017 09:00 | Morning Gismo, wise move imho....HH permit approval tomorrow and Brockham production approval can't be far away...massive upside potential on the Weald Oil alone, and then there's Greenland's treasure chest of graphite, gold , ilmenite etc etc that could be bigger again...a multi-bag looks nailed on from this current bargain low share price and tiny market cap....Onwards and Up!!! Gl :-) | moneymunch
17/10/2017 08:54 | Morning mm, just bought in here...looking very promising, lots of fingers in lots of pies as you quite rightly state | gismo

17/10/2017 08:52 | "The planing officer will be recommending in their report, to PERMIT the Horse Hill application"..... Gla Holders ;-) Agenda Planning and Regulatory Committee Wednesday, 18 October 2017 10.30 am | moneymunch
17/10/2017 08:41 | Anything under 4-5p and this is still dirt cheap, its market cap is still only a few million with one heck of a lot of assets and imminent news that itself looks like being top grade RNSs | squiresquire
17/10/2017 08:39 | How likely is HH approval tomorrow ?One of council is still not happy rest all looks goodBack to 50s from tomorrow afternoon if got approval | tmmalik
17/10/2017 08:11 | A multi-bag in the making from Alba £8.7m market cap...Gla Holders ;-) Alba's Project Portfolio Oil & Gas Horse Hill (Oil & Gas, UK): Alba holds a 15 per cent interest in Horse Hill Developments Limited, the company which has a 65 per cent participating interest and operatorship of the Horse Hill oil and gas project (licences PEDL 137 and PEDL 246) in the UK Weald Basin. Brockham (Oil & Gas, UK): Alba has a direct 5% interest in Production Licence 235, which comprises the previously producing onshore Brockham Oil Field. Mining Amitsoq (Graphite, Greenland): Alba owns a 90 per cent interest in the Amitsoq Graphite Project in Southern Greenland and has an option over the remaining 10 per cent. Black Sands (Ilmenite, Greenland): Alba owns 100 per cent of mineral exploration licences 2017/29 and 2017/39 in the Thule region, north-west Greenland. Melville Bay (Iron Ore, Greenland): Alba is entitled to a 51 per cent interest in mineral exploration licence 2017/41 in Melville Bay, north-west Greenland. The licence area benefits from an existing inferred JORC resource of 67 Mt @ 31.4% Fe. Inglefield Land (Copper, Cobalt, Gold): Alba owns 100 per cent of mineral exploration licence 2017/40 in north-west Greenland. Limerick (Base Metals, Ireland): Alba has 100 per cent of the Limerick base metal project in the Republic of Ireland. El Mreiti (Uranium, Mauritania): Alba has applied for the reissue of a uranium permit in northern Mauritania, centred on known uranium-bearing showings. Alba continues actively to review numerous other project opportunities which have value-enhancing potential for the Company whether by bolt-on or stand-alone acquisition, farm in or joint venture. ps Alba's Ilmenite license in Greenland is adjacent to Blue Jay's (JAY) ilmenite project, Blue Jay is yet to go into production but their market cap is c£130m on potential, Alba's market cap in comparison is only £8.7m and of course they have the massive near term potential UPSIDE of the Weald Oil Basin as well as their Graphite and gold and cobolt etc etc etc......Gla Holders....A sudden and significant re-rate more than likely at any time. ;-) | moneymunch
17/10/2017 08:07 | Re-rate in progress....Gla Holders....Horse Hill's Permit Approval tomorrow....Ker-Chin | moneymunch
16/10/2017 20:57 | Very nice!! | 25wbh
16/10/2017 20:36 | from UKOG today. The near identical Kimmeridge reservoir parameters and geology seen at BB-1z and the Horse Hill-1 ("HH-1") Kimmeridge oil discovery, in which the Company holds a 32.435% interest, some 27 km to the northeast, demonstrates that the Kimmeridge oil accumulation is also laterally extensive across the Central Weald Basin. NICE!! | graylyn1
16/10/2017 20:14 | alba have a dual commodity, the rednecks can pump up the oil, whilst the metal heads can dig up the gold.....lol atb | dreamtwister
16/10/2017 20:02 | Dreamtwister , If I as on the Alba board I would be promoting Graphite for all it was worth as as we know it is a revolutionary material. And that is an understatement !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | 25wbh
16/10/2017 18:53 | graphite fortunately has many directions thankfully ,but as u say , "lets get the oil " under our belt first, B | 25wbh
16/10/2017 18:50 | UKOG news today looks good. Bought more ALBA today. 0.4p is going to look very cheap once the oil flows. Not bothered by the graphite;the Weald basin is where all the short term action is going to be. It looks to me like Tesla is in real trouble and bad news on that front could knock the battery materials like lithium and graphite. Longer term though the sector must go up as proper car makers like BMW, VAG and Mercedes get in on the action. 2p by Xmas! | dubjon
16/10/2017 18:27 | me too carbon ,B | 25wbh
16/10/2017 18:24 | It looks as though the short term traders have now finished. Now when the next placing comes along, just hope they will be placed with genuine investors. | carbon man
16/10/2017 17:29 | Good news for u and me abeygale trade 17.06 0.424 2,800,000 should go up further tomorrow GLA B | 25wbh
