16/4/2021 11:00 | I tried some Beyond Meat burgers last night. I have been a committed carnivore all my life, but recognise that change is definitely coming in the food offerings to us humans. The Beyond Meat burgers I have to admit were delicious. The same texture as a beef burger, similar taste, very juicy and frankly indistinguishable from the "real' thing. A bit expensive but that will change. Am drinking oat milk now too - excellent with porridge ( not surprisingly ), cereals and with coffee. Looking to find a suitable bacon substitute - the first one I tried was pretty 'orrid! All of the above is in the interest of understanding more about the ANIC opportunity which I think is HUGE. AIMHO, DYOR etc - GC. | gustocomeon
16/4/2021 10:32 | Not only a 'buy now' tip but over the page there is a whole page devoted to it. very compelling for those not yet invested IMHO. | dicktrade
16/4/2021 09:22 | A mention in the Money Week magazine suggests ANIC as a "buy now" share | ashleyjv
12/4/2021 10:27 | The culture of animal cells ought to be a major topic at the coming World Conference for climate change in Glasgow. There is a huge cultural revolution ahead, more disruptive than the internet. There has to be and soon. I wonder how long it will take to control flavour from the Cultured meat and fish, which will face us within two years.? Will it taste the same from the start, or will they have to add flavours in some way - although it should be easy to add normal kitchen flavours before and/or after retail sale? Fish for example tastes best when freshly caught. The flavours come mainly from the 'marinade' during life in the sea and from the plankton, food chain, With the best intentions I can't acclimatise to supermarket Veggie stuff, and find only the pulses enjoyable, after Middle Eastern treatment, ie after soaking overnight, simmered with olive oill lemon juice, garlic and herbs, bay leaf, salt | scrutable
12/4/2021 07:03 | Oatly milk rumoured to be looking at an ipo. Sales of $10m in 2019, $100m in 2020, $280m in 2021. Ipo expected around $10bn. You can see the rate of growth once companies get manufacturing, and they've barely started. | 3ootuk
08/4/2021 15:59 | been a good year here, going up again ? | arab3
03/4/2021 19:35 | Axonic, Very interesting thanks, I have bought at 6, 10,12,17 and 25 it is now my largest holding by some margin. Hoping for big things. | dicksmoney
03/4/2021 19:02 | After just 2 weeks I'm up 2k on anic but I think this is just he start for me. Wish I had seen them 2 years ago. | axonic
03/4/2021 18:54 | Definitely! I'm not thinking about my future but I am in this for my girls and their children. They will have a brilliant inheritance! I'm an ex butcher and can see this going crazy!!!! | axonic
03/4/2021 12:38 | cheers axonic....I have watched the video link and makes a lot of sense Not only that , it has also convinced me that Anec ( and others ) will be massive | mwoo
03/4/2021 09:36 | This is a very interesting discussion on clean meat: | axonic
02/4/2021 20:50 | I'm out for the moment. I got in at 6-7p, so nothing wrong in booking a profit. It will be interesting to see an updated nav, but I think it's run well ahead of itself. Hard to value though with so many unlisted companies. Good luck to everyone else. | 3ootuk
01/4/2021 18:17 | hxxps://www.bnnbloom the above link is very interesting for ANIC shareholders and having been promoted by Bloomberg just a few hours ago can only help ANIC share price | mwoo
25/3/2021 11:04 | Cotton is an interesting thought given the huge environmental damage that crop causes and the current spat between Nike and China about Uigher cotton. Not considered that | donald pond
24/3/2021 10:53 | I agree Donald. To the best of my knowledge ANIC is the only UK listed play that gives us PIs access to unlisted early stage, and not so early stage companies in the "alternative food space and "cell-ag" generally. Watch out for successes in alternative cotton fibre, cell grown leathers etc. All of which are being developed. No doubt in time there will be other vehicles to choose from, meanwhile I think ANIC has a good headstart. I must recommend reading Moo's Law,and excellent book on this whole topic. | gustocomeon
24/3/2021 10:32 | I think on any sensible analysis ANIC is overvalued. But I'm not selling, because they own stakes in so many nascent companies that could easily become giants in the future. Even if they don't, as Meatable shows, growth and valuation is happening exponentially at the underlying level. The food giants will be sniffing around soon, and the chance of any of these companies going for multiples of tomorrow's price has to be high. It's just one of those buy and forget about investments. It will be volatile upon the way, but share price could easily be £5 in 3-4 years time. | donald pond
24/3/2021 09:21 | Beyond Meat is not a clean meat stock. It's a meat substitute stock.Personally I actually see these veggie imitators as more niche than anything going forward as the clean meat revolution gathers pace. | ryesloan
23/3/2021 17:22 | the worth of Anic holding in Meatable was 7.95 million euros on Feb 18th.....on that basis after the huge investment today the 7.95 million must be worth e great deal more | mwoo
23/3/2021 16:40 | So approx 30% increase? If others have done similar could explain why MC is so much higher than NAV? | philipc240
23/3/2021 16:03 | It will now show as being worth 7.95m Euros | dicktrade
23/3/2021 15:58 | the stock market offical news on 18th Feb showed that ANIC has 5 million Euros in Meatable hence Anic share in them is now worth a lot more | mwoo
23/3/2021 15:48 | Hi Guys....maybe todays rise is connected to attached link ref Meatable getting a huge investment and also Agronomics being involved hxxps://www.streetin | mwoo
23/3/2021 11:40 | looks overvalued short term but i'm taking the long view funny how beyond meat for example is trading well below it's recent highs- i think it's $1.40 against a high of $2 in the usa, one of the few listed clean meat stocks about | kristini2
23/3/2021 09:49 | Just continues to rise !! FWIW Not that i am looking to sell but i thought i would check liquidity and i could sell 150,000 but could only buy 75000. | dicktrade
22/3/2021 09:33 | Tommy6398 - there is not a day goes by now without some media comment about the "agri-revolution" that is taking place. I think that is what is moving ANIC. The sentiment for this sector is very strong - see this as another example - What will be a future determinant off ANIC value is the levels at which some of the unlisted holdings reach on listing.. Mellon also continues to market his book which isn't hurting ANIC either. DYOR etc. G | gustocomeon |
