24/12/2009 12:26 | those targets tend to be for a year unless another timeframe is mentioned, imho I would consider that to be a realistically achievable target even from this level although there could quite possibly be a retrace first | bountyhunter
24/12/2009 12:20 | * RBS has a buy for Aggreko, raising target to £10 from 835p | eipgam
24/12/2009 11:47 | phil - this is a great company and is priced on it's growth record/prospects, nevertheless the recent rise has been quite spectacular - around 925 or just this side of it could be a key level short term? | bountyhunter
22/12/2009 16:36 | No eipgam, I haven't shorted it, but that's not to say I wouldn't if I could make a few quid on it. I just wondered if anyone had a handle on why such an share price is justified. There seems to be other companies with a more predictable earnings stream that have a p/e a fraction of AGK and with a better yield! AGK earnings seem to be very reliant on overseas power generation hire at present. | phil140158
22/12/2009 16:23 | well i've bought a few anyway, should have done it as an hedge anyway for my POG that didnt get into the 100 ! Bleedin obvious really. | sven2006

21/12/2009 17:13 | I'm a long term holder of AGK and have traded it from 554 a few times on the current upward trend. Anyone now think it is overvalued? What's the rational behind the current p/e of 19 or so? | phil140158
18/12/2009 18:03 | largest trade of the day for more than 6.5 million shares @ £9 exactly | bountyhunter

16/12/2009 20:18 | Boy, am I glad I kept half my shares. Not as good as keeping all of them, but better than selling all of them! 841p... is there much more here? | eipgam
11/12/2009 18:28 | pog will join you in a month or so. agk always seemed well managed co. Surprised no other co has broken into their niche. My wife's home town had a ship's generator for electricity at first. With growing demand for appliances but no power infrastructure, agk can plug the gap. | edjge2
10/12/2009 10:35 | That was a heck of a spike this morning 816p. | eipgam
09/12/2009 21:41 | It's official it's in - | d0ubtf1re

09/12/2009 08:24 | AGK might make it into the FTSE100. Announcement tonight. Looks like it's either AGK or POG. Too close to call. | typo56

16/10/2009 23:43 | Our Chairman will be busy with Bunzl, Aggreko and Carillion. Hope he keeps up the good work! | trexpert
16/10/2009 17:57 | Thanks Phil... sold half and spent the cash on a wedge of XTR. Time will tell! Although after a few hours XTR is down and AGK is up. Bleedin typical!! | eipgam
16/10/2009 17:07 | Sound eipgam! I've got AGGK on my short watchlist if the market goes belly up. Good luck! | phil140158
