12/3/2016 16:57 | Life is the continuation of resolving problems. | howling
11/3/2016 17:25 | The problem that all fuel cells have is in being able to maintain the power output over time. It is fairly clear from the 1/2/16 RNS that the purpose of the 2nd generation system is to overcome this problem... "The second generation will focus on maintaining power output as seen today, whilst also further enhancing the system's efficiency, longevity and availability as a whole, and incorporating an engineering cost reduction programme to ensure the system remains cost competitive." It is not clear how the design team is going to attack this problem which, I assume, is endemic to all fuel cell manufacturers and probably why the technology has not become mainstream yet. I wish all holders luck. This includes me. | horneblower
11/3/2016 16:46 | NB.... After reading AB objectives milestones again...its pretty clear we will not be getting any orders this year....so will another placing be required towards end of 2016 probably....this could go on forever, they need more than a grant they need a rocket and I know where I'd like to aim it. JV with Dutco..hmm, I just hope AB is not selling us down the river with a bad deal after all these years researching testing, more testing etc etc. | beeezzz
11/3/2016 14:35 | UK net contribution to EU runs at £89bn. UK on its own will reconstitute itsindustries with emphasis on innovation. Eton Dave and Wally Osborn will no longer fiddle while they reject UK sovereignty. So much BS is talked about where AFC is at and what it aims to do. It is quite a way off commercial product . It is not fair to hype | norbus
11/3/2016 12:43 | If the JV with Dutco is signed energy secretary Elmer Fudd and the rest of the unsupportive British government can join the queue... | petrocelli2
11/3/2016 12:34 | AFC's current grant through to 2017 are guaranteed, if they sign the Middle East JV with Dutco funding will no longer be an issue | petrocelli2
11/3/2016 12:27 | Probably. But then, will the UK govt. provide grants instead? Probably not! | vatnabrekk
11/3/2016 11:33 | When the UK votes to leave the EU in June AFC will stop getting EU funding grants? | mervin4
11/3/2016 09:29 | Would AFC build Stade construct an expensive Kore, employ Siemens technicians for several months then switch the Kore off after 5 days?I think AFC are playing this right, no official fanfared start date for the 14,30,90 & 180 day targets so no need to report a problem. This could mean a 90 day announcement just after Lansteads departure with only weeks left of H1 2016 which is the targeted timescale to launch a JV with DutcoROLL ON MAY!!!! | petrocelli2
09/3/2016 13:30 | Hol...How much; that is the $42K ?. When you consider other Fuel cell companies that have a usable product have spent billions $. IMO they still have issues with output power and efficiency, I believe they are aware of these yet are not informing investors. A JV would be the way forward, with a credible engineering manufacturing company who can contribute to design and ensure production systems are first class. The company is not in a position to fore fill a major order if it ever came and I believe is putting off potential clients What will happen when Lanstead money stops, will they still be burning cash or maybe cash neutral, its a tough call. | beeezzz
09/3/2016 11:51 | beeezzz how much do they need to finish generation 2 assuming the milestone is met on time. | holism
09/3/2016 10:42 | Average down, they just had a placing a 20p WTF, come on they don't have the funds to finish Gen 2 that is for sure, the market knows it they know it, wake up man. | beeezzz
