Of course I didnt sell. Why would I? I've held since early 2011. I don't doubt the potential of the technology, nor the innovative and aspirational capacicity of Dr. Gene Lewis. I have grave misgivings about the B O D and the integrity of the financing. I'm not playing any game at all. I simply bought shares in a company that I thought had a reasonable chance of being commercially successful, as well as not destroying the planet in the process. I haven't sold any of those shares, nor will I ever do so. I may be wrong in either, or both of my assumptions, but whatever - I hope all invested here end up millionaires.

Hereford at least you new this deal is that big it would be in the papers did you sell at 55 and get your 150k back in the pot I think you could be a good poker player.

No effect at all. It's just my view, one opinion.

For confirmation read Mr Ahmed's posts on BCN and UKOG. He makes excellent points yet both shares are soaring. People will do want they want to do always.

So I guess the question is how much more does the market want to pay for an RNS which is when all said & done only a Memorandum of Understanding. 10p to 50p is enough?

Look at AVO. Ramped up to 16p now under 9p. That had a similar feel to AFC in a jam in a few years way.

It's gone up enough. The top is in for now.

Dubai Expo 2020, Maktoums Intl Airport and Nakheels man- made islands are certainly not going to do arc any harm as flagship projects either. Assuming the technology works, they will get global attention. And let's not forget Dubai has already committed to 1 GW of solar, and has already expanded the second phase of their solar park from 100 MW to 200 this year in partnership with Samsung. So an AFC deal with Partners of this later this year is possible perhaps - I would be very surprised if the connections had not already been made. Dubai will have 5 pc of its energy from renewables by 2030, and currently, it looks like little old AFC is right up there in pole position.

A full page article in the Financial Times on this deal is clearly good news and sends a serious message. So if nothing else, the PR is working. Read it, very good, online now or in tomorrow's hard copy. However it still begs the question WHY raise finance at 10p following a leaked, botched open offer, just 6 million quid, for a 150m mkt cap company? They MUST have known of the coming deal flow. Debt MUST have been an option.

The share price climb of afc reminds me of other companies who had outstanding news and made the same sort of climb only to be shorted and share price collapsed.

The great thing with FC is they can situated near to where the greatest capacity is needed negating the loss through transmission over miles & miles of pylons.

I note this will not happen until 2020 and Mr Bond has move his prediction of 1GW by the end of 2020.....Should see a Japanese order soon for the Olympics all power will be supplied by FC or renewable generation.

Well..with more deals to come,whats stopping£1.00. 2020 is far but the market will now price in future deals as good as this.Definately oneti keep adding. Placings wont get cheaper so not fussed when they happen

We're all make our own investment decisions so good on ya for having the conviction to go short. I m long term here and have no intension of selling at 41p or 54p so were it goes short term I dont really care. Of course it nice to look at a big fat paper profit but as my average is 12pence I'm pretty happy.

Lw your post seems to have been deleted. If I recall your short was placed at 51 with a 10pence target. I assume you mean 10 points to low 40s. Lets see if the market agrees with you.
