Anyone bothered to look at the numbers? Valued at £114m with what £15m new cash plus say another £15-20m in the bank. So £30m, leaving £84m for value. They say there is an order book says £25m plus IP value from the ammonia cracker £70m???, plus relationship value/potential orders £50m??? £140m might be fair value with a valuation multiple of just 1 ignoring any future value potential. I can see a multiple of 2 or 3 or more depending on how quickly governments get behind supporting a hydrogen infrastructure. Heard any of our completely disappointing so called leading politicians talk specifically about hydrogen like they have any idea of what they are talking about?

NPK21, thanks for pointless dimwit post of the month. All companies do discounted placings, including those in the FTSE100, that is how companies grow their business, just as AFC have just raised cash to FAST TRACK DELIVERY OF SYSTEMS, where you would just sit there and wait for a huge backlog of orders to build up while your market was being eroded by competitors, AFC took the initiative and decided to attack the market by investing in whatever it needs in order to ramp up DELIVERIES of systems and satisfy the huge customer demand they can see in their pipeline.

NONE OF THE PLACING STOCK WILL BE FLIPPED FOR A QUICK PROFIT!

For the clueless on here, AFC Energy recently did a Capital Markets Day, where almost ONE HUNDRED ii's and sell side analysts (those that advise clients to buys stocks) attended.

You'd have to be clueless to think that AFC did placings to ii's that would sell the stock for a measly few percent. All those at the CME were advised of how undervalued AFC was, the Ammonia Cracker being worth 'far more than the MCap of the company' and it's likely several ii's have been ASKING AFC for stock to put in their funds, and that's who AFC would have given the stock to, not the short term trading ones that flip placings a week later.

Some people are so clueless, or rather they want to talk the price down even when it's going up.

GB,.The only reason I can think of for closing the offer early is if they were overwhelmed with takers..I believe a lot of early sells were people selling some to buy the offer stock, if so, based on early volume it could easily have overwhelmed the offer stock, hence the early close as the job was more than done.

Thanks for using your super smartness and wisdom, so basically a share might go down if they don't sell anything and might go up if they do....How long do you think it takes to make these units and also make sure they pass all security and health/safety standards aspects? I don't think it is instant but yet you still bring it up every day, maybe a little patience young padwan...

Yes I received the retail offer and applied at lunch today, looks like it's closed so might be full and the 2m applied for by pi's or they could have just closed it as it basically said they could do what they wanted!

20p+ once the vote at the general meeting approves the funding. Easy profit, especially as it could well go up to 17p or 18p on the expectation that the ii's will vote in their own placings.

Price still creeping upwards. Still have a little bit of time to ask nicely for shares under the offer. I rather think the rewards are already there.

Don't be forgetting the 1/2 year results are out end of July.
What had been shipped, invoiced and payment received up to the end of April?

I will give you a clue it starts and finishes with a zero.
How do you think that will reflect in the SP?.

We might be seeing a DCB today, but the trajectory until some orders are confirmed will still be downwards.

Has the share price tanked today on the back of the news ? It was never going to go below the offer price with the positive news surrounding AFC. Yes I said positive because unless or until the units prove to be a flop, then there is positivity surrounding the company and its projects. Try look at it differently yellow. You
Might surprise yourself and begin to believe in a company you have an investment with.

1collijo,
Who told you the offer was over subscribed?.
Is it the same guy who stood up in front of a room of genuine investors at the AGM and said there were no plans for a cash raise.
1 month later here we are...
