Thanks CT I will dip my toe as Covid in a strangeway has forced them to broaden their offering and in time this may well prove to be the catalyst for good growth which will only truely be visible when all divisions are up and firing at full thrust in such a world a market cap of 2.4M
would be incredibly cheap.

Mark1000, While I would recommend DYOR, I am invested here once again as I think the cash they have will see them through. My investment may or may not turn out to be successful in the short term as there clearly have been a few small sells over a period of time and they have not issued any positive news for some time. Maybe I invested to early and it may drop but I will hold.

I am not looking for dividends, I am just looking for stock growth.

KIT might also help out.

Clocktower Like you I have looked at this share buying and selling it for many years. I agree with you this has 50p written all over it 18 months from now the question is do you buy now or hold for a lower price human nature being what it is. In the past they have been able to convert profits into cash and then into divi's which often have been outstanding. My concern is the speed of getting back to normal in particular employers will be much slower than say the general public in organising staff physical gatherings.

Should soon be time for an update and news from AEO, as its been a fair while since we have heard a peep out of them about the US business etc.

So today’s COVID news should provide the business with a date that they can plan the return of events in person rather than online, though I think there may well be room for growth in both avenues.

I was hoping the MM would pick up more stock than they have yesterday and been able to pick up more at sub 28p but now it seems that I will have to pay up to 30p to get hold of more, and unless we see a few sellers soon, I will have another small nibble as it rises towards 50p - which should not be far away imo.

The more I look at it today, the more I like it - If the MM get stock and the price slips again, I will buy more.

This after all was a nice tack on, at a gift of a price, now that they have integrated the offices.

No wonder they are still looking for six more staff on top of the 4 just announced on twitter.

LOL tiswas - thanks - I managed to pick up a few for a very small punt - for a bit of fun, as my main interests are SHOE at present and CRU.

This looks like it could go shooting up to over £1 before long, as it once was.
Happy days then with this company.

I need to take a fresh look but because there are so few shares, there is no trading opportunities for larger investments.

I think your on to a winner though having taken another look. Well done hanging in.

Good couple of posts CT, for once! 😁

Tried a dummy trade to see what liquidity was like and could sell 10k @ 26.5p but no more which is odd. Anything over was back to 22.75p although it could just be online quotes that are screwed.

Looks like they are managing the move away from live events well and hopefully this will be reflected in a positive trading update at some point.

This looks interesting as well - I had not been keeping up with what they were up to of late but with KIT they might have a WINNER.

L2 looks mad - One MM asking 40p and only one on offer.

Caught my eye because it was on top rises list, so I took a look as it jumped on so little volume today.

Then I clicked on twitter and saw they were taking on staff, so something must be cooking, maybe takeover from the USA as these sorts of businesses would be priced at over £1 I expect - so it seems I got this wrong folks - the USA which brings so many British businesses to their knees may be the shot in the arm I guess.

Good Luck - maybe news on Monday for all tired holders - I wish you well.

I think they have done bloody well when we get back to normal times this is a 50p share with profits of say 500K and a market cap 4M to 5M in the past the Copany paid out good dividends while maintaining the 1M cash buffer. The 64000 dollar question is now a good time to buy?

CT.

Your last post reads like someone with a literacy problem. Your previous post is clearly from someone who does not understand cashflow in a business.

LOL bigfrocks, your not reading the same RNS it seems, or one can otherwise assume you have your head stuck so far up the companies backside that you fail to see daylight or have a torch. 😉

Good stuff, wasn't expecting a dividend. Loss towards the bottom end and it seems like things are going the right way, cash preserved well! Well done team in unprecedented times.

Everything is exciting according to the RNS and they have a talented bunch but what is not exciting is the results, as expected.

What a bunch of nobs, with so few clients making up the bulk of the turnover.

I expect the cash will start draining away before long! They had around £1.7 million at the end of the period and then they talk about the cash being around £1million, has it shifted around 700k in the last few months?

Maybe they hoped nobody would notice.

No advice intended just a view that some may or may not wish to consider.

When the annual report comes out, how big a drop are you expecting in the true cash balance to 2019?

Why open offices in other locations when business has moved on-line, maybe AEO do not yet fully understand how much things have really changed.

Get self employed to work from home on a short term contract basis, it`s cheaper and offers less risk.

They are funny though suggesting they are a GLOBAL business with 24 members of staff.

You have to hand them a prize for being a comedy act when it comes to writing RNS.

clocktower

LOL - tiswas.

How many more RNS will it take the management, to try to get the share price up?

What this mornings trades do suggest is that it takes very little volume to push the offer up but then again the MM try to cream of extra profits on the least bit of news that might by some be construed as positive.

Any idea what the previous leaders of this business are doing these days?

Opening in the USA maybe. :-)

It's called moving with the times CT.

Unlike someone else who posts regularly on here and, judging by their user name, is still stuck in the 17th century! 😁
