06/10/2015 11:01 | You should take that as very good sign that the market makers gapped it up on nothing and took so many sells at 42.5p without affecting the price too much. Means that they are very low on stock and want stock. | ileeman
06/10/2015 10:28 | I think the first few trades were buys ? The 8k looks a sell though | ramas
06/10/2015 10:21 | Disappointing to see what appears to be sells at this stage but maybe we are seeing some holders selling from before the fiasco of the booting of SG and the first profits warning, just seeing as a chance to get their cash back. The MM are keeping a big spread which must be deterring fresh buyers which seems to suggest they are not holding much stock. Still, even if it creeps up slowly over the next few days the results are to be looked forward too. | clocktower
06/10/2015 09:08 | Oops sorry chaps,spoke too soon!! | susiebe
06/10/2015 09:01 | Seems to be building nicely here.50p to 60p very short term.. | susiebe
05/10/2015 20:09 | Here with you ramas! Watching very closely | bigfrocks
05/10/2015 19:23 | Not a great fan of charts but maybe positive forces in unison .... Confirmation of good results together with the chart breakout , throw in a few new buyers in size and this easily head to previous high and beyond ... Watching with extreme interest | ramas
05/10/2015 09:59 | Yea great chart set-up aswell, broken 200MA and resistance. 55p-60p looks like a good target only a £4.5mil-£ | ileeman
05/10/2015 09:41 | iL, you are correct as far as on-line goes as it seems the best quote one is able to get is 42.75, so I guess there is an order to be filled as they are only bidding 39.05 at present.Maybe once the 40p bid price is broken it may creep towards the 50p during the week. | clocktower
05/10/2015 09:26 | Yea maybe not fireworks until just before results and on results but expect a nice climb over the coming days aswell. Also at the moment cant buy any at 41p. | ileeman
05/10/2015 08:27 | Bit early for fireworks iL, I expect it will not rocket until just before results, then I guess a few will have missed the launch site but still be in for a good show and dividends. | clocktower
02/10/2015 10:18 | Fireworks starting next week as results get closer, investors will start loading up on anticipation. | ileeman
02/10/2015 08:44 | Looks like were all excited but the action is yet to warm up today as we run up towards the results mid month. I guess we will soon get a day that the volume just goes mega and the share price rises towards if not past 50p. The quality of the projects shown on the new website just shows that they can produce outstanding events for major client whom cannot fail to be bowled over with the results. I bet it is pretty exciting to be present at those events. | clocktower
01/10/2015 20:44 | Looking exciting! Lets have some good figures! Ive got a gut feeling we will have! U don't refurbish an office etc if things aren't going well! | bigfrocks
01/10/2015 15:20 | My top up buy at 37.5p today looks good already and has a lot more traction in it yet as it breaks out. Good luck all. | clocktower
01/10/2015 14:27 | Even if we see a few more small buyers in I think we could well see it pop over the 40p today imo. | clocktower
01/10/2015 13:53 | You and me A2584728, as I just bought the other 5000 @37.5p that I should have purchased at 33p a short time back but invested elsewhere and took a small loss to get the extra here as it is looking so hot and heading towards that 65p target. | clocktower
01/10/2015 11:30 | Price action suggests we have a new shareholder on board accumulating over last week or so , roll on results ... | ramas
01/10/2015 09:08 | I am becoming more excited and bullish about AEO as the days go by. | a2584728
29/9/2015 17:35 | One of those trades looks like it was sold at a loss, as you can see the same volume (11,087) a few days earlier. As you say ramas could be someone taking a high risk and if it comes off pop in back here before results. I have noticed that sort of trading before. I guess some they win. | clocktower
29/9/2015 16:09 | Not much profit if it's a trader , maybe some wanting to take a punt on the likes of glencore, in which case good luck is all I can say ..... Risk extreme | ramas
29/9/2015 16:01 | Either we have short term profit takers today or maybe nerves twitching with the market. Still it is giving some the chance to buy in before results at a bargain level. | clocktower
29/9/2015 10:59 | I'm not averse to a special dividend and the chances could be good .... This is a lifestyle business but not in the negative sense . The company makes money and the demonstrable policy in recent times is to distribute profits to shareholders whilst maintaining a healthy cash balance in case of tough times. AEO could distribute all profits this year and achieve all the above so potentially up to 4p results pending of course .... Roll on mid October. | ramas
29/9/2015 08:23 | Also maintaining a slow divi rise can be supported over the years as cutting a divi is bad news, whereas special divi's can come and go without to much of a problem. So a 2p divi for me, with a £5 special :-) | old thumper
29/9/2015 07:55 | Mark1000, that might well be the case but if you have a big growth plan you may need part of that cash pile to provide the security and monies due would grow. So I would be happy with the 2p and to hear about growth plans taking shape, along with a growing line of projects with major new international clients. | clocktower |
