Saw this stock today. No trades since Oct/Nov 2008 and friday 3 april and today the volume are nearly 120 mln ie half the stock traded.

Are the directors shedding their holding or a fund raising exercise is building up.
Stock is being bid up for some strange reason.

No RNS either about the wild swing. At one stage today shares were up 70% and then down 5%.

Any views.

So it was a Y2K zombie afterall...

The strong financial backing it had was the only factor that made me monitor this... turns out the backers were just insane.

Glad i never "invested" in it.

Oooo funding talks - 6mths from my prediction on 6th May = 6th November - almost certainly bust before then now.

How concepts like this ever get floated is beyond me - fund managers should be ashamed if they hold any of this stock.

Adwalker Goes Down Under
Adwalker has just announced a new licensing agreement with an Australian company called 808 South.

Under the agreement Adwalker will provide 808 South with access to as many Adwalker units required for lease hire, operating and logistics guidelines, training, marketing and technical support and regional exclusivity.

This is clever as it gives Adwalker (simple) access to a new territory.

Iain Crittenden, Managing Director, 808 South said, "I am extremely pleased with the new agreement, it makes us the first reseller in Australian markets and adds another dimension to our organisation, we can now provide our clients with the world's most interactive digital platform. I really look forward to working with Adwalker".

Simon Crisp, CEO, Adwalker said "This licensing agreement allows 808 South to have all the features and benefits the Adwalker platform has to offer, service applications like video games and competitions, vouchers and printouts, product demos, photo marketing and much more. 808 South will be able to offer their clients an interactive, engaging experience with measurable results. The can provide their clients with data capture, drive traffic to their websites, generate leads, act as a point of sale and generally create an all-round unique and memorable experience like no other. I am delighted with this new agreement and look forward to working with 808 South".

The Adwalker and 808 South agreement starts February 2008 and is expected to expand rapidly in the coming months.

Adwalker's MBNA campaign at Chelsea FC
mbna-adwalker-photos-111107.pdf

No sooner had I written about the wearable media solutions seen at the Baseball World Series games - than I receive the attached PDF from Adwalker (yes them again) about the MBNA campaign they ran at Chelsea Football Club last Sunday prior to the Chelsea – Everton match.

MBNA were aiming to gather sales leads for their Chelsea Rewards Credit Card. As seems usual now, a team of Adwalkers engaged the fans in a competition entry and every registration was entered into a prize draw to win 2 VIP tickets to another Chelsea match (errr and anyone who eventually opens an MBNA account receives a free Chelsea shirt).

As well as registering sign-ups, the Adwalkers provided footfall to a number of static MBNA 'sign-up pods' that were dotted around the stadium.

I would like to see Adwalker roll out these sorts of campaigns to all premiership football games (perhaps they should talk to mdm.tv and do some joint promotion?).

I understand that Adwalkers will be in action again at Stamford Bridge on 1st December 2007 at the Chelsea vs West Ham match.

This is a great initiative in a high profile sport - I hope that traditional media (Marketing Week, Campaign etc.) pick up on it positively also
