18/2/2007 20:38 | They have missed early forecasts, making losses, high overheads and yet to demonstrate their ability to turn it around. (imho) The news next week might help start the turnaround. (I've bought in over the last few weeks in anticipation of the bottom being reached) | unionhall
18/2/2007 19:14 | All I hear about this stock is good news, great publicity, great stories of the effectiveness of the product but the share price is stuck in the doldrums. I have been in this for a couple of years so i am way down but bought in again at 2.25 and expect this to explode (I mean that as a good thing) but I just cannot understand the poor share price performance. Does anyone know why the market is not reflecting this company's success and progress ? | andywrx1
18/2/2007 18:47 | 'Top of the Rock' Campaign Boosts Traffic in January The Top of the Rock Observation Deck, a tourist attraction atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza (home to NBC), saw a boost in traffic during January, thanks to a new on-street promotion. The tourist attraction retained Adwalker, a company that equips specially trained brand ambassadors with wearable interactive computer gear, to walk the streets around Rockefeller Center during the four weeks of January. While the month is notably soft in terms of tourism, more than half of the people who engaged with adwalkers bought tickets to The Top of the Rock during a given week, says Keith Douglas, sales and marketing director of the Top of the Rock. | unionhall
11/12/2006 11:09 | Dial Doubles up on Apprentice NBC will kick off another season of The Apprentice with a bevy of product placements. Not only will Dial be a first-time sponsor, but it will be the first company to sponsor two episodes of the show in a single season. This season's sponsors will also include AdSpace Networks, Adwalker, AMC Entertainment, El Pollo Loco, GNC, The Home Depot, KB Home, Lexus and Priceline.com. | unionhall
07/12/2006 16:25 | Cannot recall - will let u know when released (but I think credible) | unionhall
07/12/2006 16:21 | Is it by a credible outfit, or courtesy of UK-analyst's stock ramping department at GECR? Rgds dell All IMHO, DYOR etc. | dell314
07/12/2006 16:16 | ruffian, apparently there is one in draft at the moment awaiting finalisation. | unionhall
22/11/2006 17:13 | Is there any research note? | ruffian2
22/11/2006 17:05 | Fair enough - Good Luck - I'll post if I buy in or get any further info. I've made a call to Simon Crisp - perhaps he will call back this evening or tomorrow. | unionhall
22/11/2006 16:27 | Well lets agree to disagree and one of us will be right and one of us will be wrong. Good luck in what you decide to do and perhaps we will have an update in six months time to see who was right. I am a holder of the stock so I will always be an optimist (misguided or otherwise). What is clear is they have revenue traction and this will not be lost on their largely institutional investors who have not sold or transferred stock to the AIM realisation fund!! If they do need to raise money then I'd expect the institutions to be supportive. DYOR | ruffian2
22/11/2006 15:19 | Have to disagree with you there ruffian... They had 1.8m odd in cash at year-end(Feb), 400k odd in cash at end of August. So cash must be about out now and not at all within the company's control. Sales in August were approx 224k based on comments in the Finals about revenues in the five months to July. They may be up to 250k per month now or 3m pa. With 4m in overheads the company needs 8m pa approx to break even. Surprised they have not addressed the issue in either the Finals or interims. | unionhall
22/11/2006 14:13 | The way i read it is they have achieved last years sales in the first half and some. They have had record sales in sept and oct whihc is a trend that is obviously continuing. A cash raise may be on the horizon but it appears to be within their control rather than a must at this stage. If revenue trend doesn't continue they may be forced to raise money. | ruffian2
22/11/2006 10:17 | Just debating ruffian2 - I haven't bought in yet but have them on my watchlist so interested if holders or others have a more positive spin at this stage.... Revenues have doubled from last 6-month period to this so they are on the right track but seem to me to have a way to go yet. | unionhall
22/11/2006 10:12 | If thats your view then sell the shares, its as simple as that | ruffian2
22/11/2006 09:29 | In the half under review they were burning cash at a rate of 250k / month and need to quadruple sales to get to cash breakeven. 402k in cash at August 31st. Funding due about now I'd say.... | unionhall
22/11/2006 08:50 | With September and October being record months of sales maybe they won't. Please read the statement carefully!!!! | ruffian2
22/11/2006 08:03 | Unless I've missed it, they don't appear to have told us when the cash runs out....... Rgds dell | dell314
12/10/2006 14:53 | Suspect you might get on now....well worth it for arounf £3-4 a week imho plus you free up phone line. You can check availabilty on-line with no visits. | argy2
12/10/2006 14:30 | Argy - IIRc it was about 6km from the nearest exchange(although it was over a year ago, so I could be wildly out) but the BT bod who turned up with his meter reckoned he couldn't even get a reading here. I know they are supposed to have overhauled the system to allow more reach, so I'll probably have another try when I get around to it. Not something that I'm currently that bothered about though..... Cheers, dell | dell314
12/10/2006 14:15 | dell Wherabouts are you and how far from an Exchange? | argy2
12/10/2006 10:50 | dell - I tend to agree with you, it all seems a bit too wacky and pointless to me - the chart doesn't look too good either - but who knows maybe Google will give them a couple of billion dollars ! Regards NST | nosuchthing
12/10/2006 10:45 | NST - Thanks. However, I'm supposedly too far from a BT exchange to get broadband and there's no cable round here either, so I'm still on dialup I'm afraid, hence streaming TV is a bit of a no go. FWIW, I can't see many barriers to entry for a competitor here. Surely, all you need is a modified laptop and some media content for much of the functionality, so I still think it looks like a pile of garbage. Maybe Tom W. knows something I don't but I'll be very surprised if this service is ever much more than a gimmick. All IMHO, DYOR etc. Rgds dell | dell314
12/10/2006 10:35 | dell - Can't remember their reasoning - other than it seemed liked a wizzy idea, but you can see for yourself if you go here and click on Wednesday | nosuchthing
12/10/2006 08:22 | NoSuchThing - What was their reasoning behind tipping it(apart from the fact that it's a client of one of their PR companies, IIRC!), as it looks like a waste of a listing, IMHO. Rgds dell | dell314 |
