16/1/2024 11:16 | Only just back to where Vin Murria personally bought £17.5 million worth at 100p nearly 3 years ago. Clearly with that amount of personal investment she is expecting a lot of upside from the current level. | x54v
16/1/2024 10:41 | Interest picking up here. | someuwin
11/1/2024 16:52 | As stated on the company website, "Vin has completed over 90 acquisitions and disposals of technology and digital services businesses totalling approximately £3 billion in transaction value." So clearly she is more than capable of finding suitable acquisitions. An expert even. I'd suggest that over the past couple of years, there have been a number of potential opportunities found but these have been rejected because the price was too high. Given how markets have fared since, holding off and not over-paying has proved to be a shrewd move. Now with valuations at a much better level the company states, "there has been a notable increase in inbound opportunities. The Board will continue to evaluate these against its acquisition criteria." I have every confidence that there will be plenty of acquisitions ahead and that Vin Murria will buy these at a sensible level, growing the company significantly as she has done previously with Kewill, CSG and Advanced Computer Software. | x54v
11/1/2024 16:14 | Acquisition targets? She's been looking for acquisitions since Mar'21 when listing - and likely well before that. So in 3yrs pretty much diddly-squat! Don't hold your breath. Seriously though - she does have a great track record; and there is nothing worse than rushing in and over-paying. So I'm sure this will come good...eventually. | skyship
11/1/2024 15:10 | The cash is certainly going to be a drag on the share price in the short term but at least now Advt have a base of businesses onto which to build. With further acquistions the share price should hopefully start to motor... | stemis
11/1/2024 11:58 | Do we have any idea on what acquisition targets might be? | someuwin
11/1/2024 08:39 | No quote to buy at 95p, I reckon this starts to move higher today, the LinkedIn comments above tally with the disposal of Synaptic which was loss making & reduced the net profitability of the remaining 4 acquired companies. Very smart decision making. Most LSE SaaS companies with recurring revenue & profitability are valued at 15-20x P/E or a 3-5x multiple of ARR. FY22 recurring rev was ~£23m, so at 3x you could be looking at a sum of parts valuation of 130p (52p for the acquired businesses, 61p cash, 17p SAA shares). At a 5x multiple it would be 155p. Seems to be a very good margin of safety buying down here. | philly cheesesteak
10/1/2024 12:20 | Nice bit of marketing on the website. "AI" mentioned 3 times on the front page. | hugepants
10/1/2024 09:27 | A brand new website: (remove the space before the www) www.advancedadvt.com | x54v
10/1/2024 08:50 | Definitely looks interesting given the financials of the acquired businesses; "In the twelve months ended 31 December 2022, the Acquired Group reported revenues of £32.4 million and an EBITDA of £5.2 million." 74% recurring revenue & you presume that they will look to trim fat wherever possible to boost EBITDA margins. With £81m+ in cash at bank, £22m in SAA shares and FCF generative, it looks to be a good buy & hold candidate. | philly cheesesteak
10/1/2024 08:40 | Yes, an encouraging start so far. Worth remembering that the price is only just back level with Vin Murria bought £17.5 million worth for herself at 100p. And of course that she 10 bagged Computer Software Group and Advanced Computer Software using the same strategy as is being used here. | x54v
10/1/2024 08:33 | Spent half hour trying to buy! Just got 33000 at 100p . Probably drop later but in for the long term so not concerned. Fair value | jans3
10/1/2024 08:17 | Only early but nice start. | balcony
09/1/2024 15:18 | "#ADVT admission to AIM tomorrow. Share price 82p Mcap £109.22m Investment in #SAA worth £19.2m £78.7m cash with a further £3.5 to come from the sale of Synaptic. Acquired businesses purchased for a combined £33m from Capita. No debt Assets worth >£130m Fair value = 100p" | x54v
08/1/2024 16:38 | Admission document now live: | x54v
08/1/2024 16:16 | Opportunities to do so on the increase by the sounds of it.... "M&A is a core part of AdvT's strategy and there has been a notable increase in inbound opportunities. The Board will continue to evaluate these against its acquisition criteria." | x54v
08/1/2024 16:06 | Put all that cash to work VIN... | skyship
08/1/2024 12:45 | Encouraging trading update for first 5 months of ownership, albeit without any numbers... | stemis
07/1/2024 18:22 | No probs colin. It’s certainly been quiet on the news front these last few months. A steady stream of newsflow in the months ahead would be welcome. It will be interesting to see how the market reacts on Wednesday. | x54v
07/1/2024 08:45 | X54, Stemis - thanks for your eagle eyes over the last 7 months of 'shutdown', it would have been deathly silent otherwise. BTW I have 4 software/tech companies in my portfolio, and this is the largest by some way. I think the outlook for Wednesday is good. | colinroberts
05/1/2024 19:42 | New website and re-branding at Workforce Management Software: Good to see the ADVT influence kicking in. I would think there will be a fair bit of effort going into optimising the existing businesses to ramp up organic growth. Looking forward to the shares being re-listed next week. | x54v
