09/9/2022 11:15 | About time this matter was brought to a head, either way... | stemis
09/9/2022 08:40 | Market cap currently lower than the net cash balance. --- Market cap GBP97m vs... "ADV currently has more than GBP100m net cash" + 12 million SAA shares @ 158p mid | x54v
14/8/2022 20:25 | "I suspect Vin believes the bid for SAA is far from over..." yes, but maybe in the same way that trump thought he had won the election | 3800
05/7/2022 07:56 | I suspect Vin believes the bid for SAA is far from over... | stemis
05/7/2022 07:27 | A 2.7m put-through at 77p. Presumably no-one still holding here; but one has to say that VM is now well past the date when she should have announced the end of this project. Her problem now maybe that she has stuck shareholders with an SAA stake which can't be sold! Still, in the meantime return the cash balance... | skyship
31/5/2022 20:04 | SAA back to 189p. Surely have to exit these at c86p. | skyship
26/5/2022 08:43 | Who would’ve though Vin’s offer is now around par with NFC and could be better given the slide in NFC shares. | battlebus2
24/5/2022 15:12 | I agree. Prolonging this is ridiculous. | battlebus2
24/5/2022 14:27 | The best outcome would be to walk away and take the turn. | kemche
24/5/2022 13:52 | True it’s driven by £££. 🤣 | battlebus2
23/5/2022 20:12 | I guess if Vin did decide to oppose the scheme of arrangement, one of three things would happen 1. the motion might pass anyway 2. NFC might raise their offer to get Vin's support 3. NFC would withdraw leaving the field clear for Advt Obviously I've no idea what Vin is going to do but, whatever it is, I doubt it would be driven by vindictiveness | stemis
23/5/2022 08:01 | Vin-dictive 🤣 | battlebus2
23/5/2022 07:49 | So they declined to increase their offer from 220p but at the same time will reject a bid of 251.8p... In what world does this make sense? It's been a pantomime since day 1 here, the SAA BoD must be shaking their heads in disbelief. | 74tom
20/5/2022 17:46 | Advt decline to increase their offer and confirm that the irrevocable undertakings have ceased to have effect and that Octopus has withdrawn it's letter of intent. The issue now of course is whether Advt/Vin will oppose the scheme of arrangement and special resolution that needs 75% support. With Advt/Vin holding 22.3%, if they oppose it it would require 86% of the remaining shareholders to vote for it and that might not be a given... | stemis
20/5/2022 10:10 | But the Next 15 bid is not all cash. So the estimate of NAV has to take into account the fact that the company´s assets will include shares whose value can go up or down. | orange1
20/5/2022 10:02 | If bid goes through I wonder if ADVT will seek another target or whether, given what has been an unproductive search and probably a drain on capital (even taking into account the gain on the SAA holding) the time has come to return investors money. My guess is the former but I’m not sure I have the confidence in VM which I had when I originally invested. | cousin jack
20/5/2022 09:56 | What a complete waste of time this has been. We're back to square one. Will vin murria now do what we all first thought or will advt be wound up? After the recent crash there must be some bargains around that would be ideal for her. | jans3
20/5/2022 08:31 | Less some pretty steep costs incurred. | tiltonboy
20/5/2022 08:19 | 12 million. If NFC bid goes through then it lifts Advt NAV to about 101p. | stemis
20/5/2022 07:31 | The 10 million shares bought at £2 should produce a very tidy profit for ADVT | talkman2
20/5/2022 07:30 | SAA gets a bid from Next (NFC). A lucky out for VM...& remaining ADVT shareholders! | skyship
20/5/2022 07:29 | Hope she walks away now I'm happy enough. | playful
17/5/2022 19:14 | Presentation | x54v
17/5/2022 11:15 | Gone hostile now with ADVT going direct to SAA shareholders. I see that Octopus and Paradice have already “signalled their intent to accept or procure acceptance of the Offer” SAA will release an RNS with their response in the short term no doubt. | x54v
17/5/2022 10:48 | Formal offer for SAA. Advt claim to have support of 42.5% of shareholders. You would think that would be enough although SAA share price hasn't really reacted. Based on current Advt share price of 82.5p, values offer at 209p. SAA share price currently 170p. | stemis |
