I have mixed views on this. It seems expensive considering the size of turnover bought. And yet to develop the software themselves would have cost several millions anyway. So on balance probably a good deal, if they can show strong growth over the next few years.

Mark Braund skills lie in turnarounds which he did very well here, selling the Redstone Connect business with it's lumpy revenues at a very good price. He was also on a salary that was oversized for the now smaller sized business.

The building of the new Smartspace business is a different skillset, and Frank Beechinor has the track record to make a good go of it. (imo :-)

Results were a bit horrendous really but they have said second half should be much better. Its about backing management now. Heard some very good things about the CEO. Should hopefully start to perform better when the wider story gets out there. Today's acquisition looks very exciting. Another couple of those and we should be off to the races.

Well the results and acquisition look very interesting. This one is well under the radar. Not one post this morning but the ADVFN info is USELESS, completely out of date and WRONG in this day and age. Anyway enough ranting !!! they have a market cap of £20m odd which for a tech company with a bright future looks quite cheap. I shall certainly be staying here for the medium term. GLA

Did actually hear back this afternoon. It was confirmed that the REDS financial calendar was being maintained. In the last 2 years the Interims have been on 10th and 11th October so could be as soon as next week although I won't be holding my breath.

Well Lisa Baderoon is listed as 'Financial public relations' contact on the company website. No response to either of my first 2 emails thus far - I have just a sent a third as a final attempt.

Meanwhile, we drift lower...

I wonder if SMRT has considered taking over C21 ? They are a small company that is involved in developing smart technology systems for transport, and with a low mkt cap.
