A quick scan of the RKH RNS and it is indeed great news, but they haven't got the cash in the bank yet, and there's the small question of warrants to factor into the mkt cap/SP calculation.

Great news tho...

Bloody hell, that case has been going on forever, I thought it would never get resolved.

Now the Italians will move for annulment.

90% up yet mkt cap only £95m, less than half of the value of the cash settlement.

"The catalyst of deal closing in early quarter 4 offers acquisition upside of close to a doubling in the share price from today's current price of 28p, in a CPR Brent price deck scenario (mentioned above) and 50% higher than that again in a continued scenario of higher oil prices."

"There is an upcoming election in Angola which some would argue adds some risk into the closing possibility but, if anything, the opposition is also aligned with the need to attract foreign investment in their oil fields."

Re this Friday’s general election results, if the opinion poles are anything to be believed, it’s not looking too good for the incumbent Angolan government.
What happens if they get booted out, is it all bets off for AET?

Transition in forward motion for @AfentraPLC say @TMSreach "Whether and how much the share price might continue to rise beyond the conclusion of the deal is uncertain. Investors seeking a stake in #AET may find that there will never be a better time to buy than now"https://total-market-solutions.com/2022/08/afentra-plc-2/

Not bitter at all about EUA, the great work they've done over a decade made me a fortune enabling my early retirement.

I am not happy about the war, which has delayed their plans, but some people are delighted by that, which is truly reprehensible.

Here at AET the directors believe they have a deal and so do I, but the share price won't fully reflect that until it's on the books.

Talks mean nothing...

They need to conclude the Angola deal and get that on the books along with the funding arrangements.

Net revenue should be about $85m pa, before loan repayments, so we should make about $25m pa (£20m) bottom line profit pre tax.

Dividend?
