I'm not only impressed with the board buys. I'm impressed with pretty much everything since McDade/Cloke took the reins.

That said, having been stung with Petroneft after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, I can't bring myself to be too positive. Anything can happen.

While eco warriors demand we move away from oil the sad reality is oil is used in everything from lubricants to pharmaceuticals. Even something as mundane as penicillin need butylethylene in the extraction. So the bad news is we need oil for years to come

I used to be a director of 3 companies.. you don't invest 300 k with out good reason.. why because if the shorters come in a your 300k can become 200 k...100 k...50 k...20 k.. 5k. They are not in a closed period.. so there investment is based on organic growth not optimistic news..

Good deal/bad deal... Directors buying up here deters other sellers and increases the value of they're nil cost options. Whilst providing the market with an illusion of a floor in the shareprice. Buying also confirms not in a closed period, so any further deals are months away at best.Just pointing out the elephant in the room amongst all the excitement.
