Technicality that's all - allowing buyers to get in at a thirty percent discount to the recent fund raise and director purchases

Why alter something in the knowledge it needs approval and you're running to a tight timescale for a very important delivery? Anyone who wants to find out what these improvements are you should be able to find the documents on the authority's website.

Rowan didn't make any mistakes over his share incentive plan! Additionally with lumber prices rocketing where's the update on our lumber business, according to last interims there's 100 containers per month to be shipped once the poor weather has cleared, it's been very nice there past few months as we can see from those construction photo's.

I sincerely hope for long suffering shareholders there's something good fairly soon, share price has held up much better then I thought.

This management team clearly find it an exceedingly difficult task to have their permitting together. They have said all along that they would use improved, state of the art pollutant capture.

So either:

1. They failed to submit modified plans months ago when they should have aand therefore demonstrate a further gross lack of competence

or,

2. They submitted changes to plans at that time and it has been with Air Control for months and they have done nothing with it. In which case Rowan has no basis for expressing confidence that they will meet their existing sales targets because he has no control of the timescales.

I don't see a third option. If I had an ounce of will left I would dig into the permitting authority website again because it will say on the excel when the last submission was and what the current status is.

I read on another thread this week the observation that there are sufficient companies out there with clearly competent management that you don't need to trust your money to those who suggest by their own actions that they aren't.

Just a view. A now very very jaded one.

Perhaps Saint can spread some light and lift me from my stupor?

Sounds like they need a change to the permit but have carried on working while waiting for it so they have been issued with a violation notice - not the best way to conduct yourselves

Does anyone care to share their thoughts regarding the latest RNS?

Rowan regularly uses incorrect terminology, which is worrying, whether intentional or not. The RNS for the Coal Switch order was for 900t to be delivered by mid-June, so 6 weeks from now. Lately he's saying 'feedstock' which I think he think is what he calls actual product, which is confusing. Feedstock is by definition raw material to produce a 'product'. So if its correct this reduces the finished product, by the feedstock to product ratio; half?. More worrying is that lately 900t has further become, 'up to' 900t, which means I guess it could be no tonnes 'up to' 900t. This is what should worry us most IMO. Taking into account record increases in log and lumber market prices since broker notes where projected revenue figures are calculated on now historic, much lower, lumber and log prices, AEG should be smashing revenues projected at that time. Price increases since with lumber indexes today trading higher every day (60% to 70% higher now not unreasonable depending on the product). So with two shifts on the sawmill operating for over 6 months, at higher lumber market pricing, sawmill sales plus logs at 100 containers per month means AEG revenues should see any previous projection totally outperformed with impressive revenues and profitability on that part of AEG's business. What bothers me is that no update to research note projections from AEG brokers or an RNS to tell us the company is now expecting almost double the revenues from these activities, over the last 6 months and the rest of this year? Why wouldn't they be shouting about this, it certainly to my mind should be more exciting for the company than a few hundred tonnes of CoalSwitch. Lumber markets are making history today.

Broker notes appear to assume all is as we expect though, delivery mid year.

"Active Energy will be supplying up to 900 tonnes of biomass feedstock from its Lumberton site for delivery by no later than 14(th) June 2021."

Read it with a Rowan head on ones shoulders, he's referring to feedstock not a produced product for delivery, we have no idea what the actual order from PacifiCorp is, 900 tonnes is the amount of feedstock AEG will provide with the remainder being sourced externally.

"Active Energy will be supplying up to 900 tonnes of biomass feedstock from its Lumberton site for delivery by no later than 14th June 2021. All the feedstock used for the biomass will be sourced locally, within North Carolina and processed by using residual wood, including bark and treetops/branches. This commitment forms part of AEG's strategy to produce a biomass solution including waste materials from the lumber industry."

No wonder he looked so perplexed about a delivery date, if that's correct of course. Maybe we'll get an update on the 100 containers per month of lumber by end of last year before we get commissioning of plant.

"although having watched the interview Rowan didn't appear to know the deadline for order delivery nor that he'd given an indication of commissioning during April in a prior broker note release."

None of that served to challenge the concerns I already had.

Up to 3tph plant we have being installed. I thought it would have been done by now, although having watched the interview Rowan didn't appear to know the deadline for order delivery nor that he'd given an indication of commissioning during April in a prior broker note release.

"Active Energy will be supplying up to 900 tonnes of biomass feedstock from its Lumberton site for delivery by no later than 14(th) June 2021."

Those may prove key words come June, long term incentive plan wasn't as ambiguous as he clearly knows what's what with that aspect of the business.

needs to be up and running soon as it will take about 3 weeks to make at 5 tonnes an hour without any hitches.

Perfect storm coming for AEG soon I believe

Producing a superior pellet into a market looking to go green.

Demand should outstrip any supply we have.

With a debt free balance sheet and a very scaleable model I think we could be vulnerable to an approach once PacifiCorp start using our product.

Joe Biden promises that the US will cut carbon emissions by about twice as much as previously planned by the end of this decade. Welcome news for AEG who are close to completing the Lumberton biomass facility.

A must read for investors hxxps://www.bioenergy-news.com/news/switching-it-up/

"The concept, of course, is that these unique pellets can be used to replace coal entirely at power plants, or co-fire with coal, helping to cut their greenhouse gas emissions."

Here are some comments from the Grand Chief on the day the Licence was announced.

I'm happy to believe AEG's version of the latest event. (my opinion only)

RMDE Chairman, Grand Chief Ronald Derrickson said, "RMDE is pleased to become the first Licensee Partner for AEG's CoalSwitch™ technology in Canada. Following an intensive period of due diligence, AEG has demonstrated to RMDE, that it can provide the technical and IP support required to give us, our partners and outside investors the confidence to build, commission and operate reliable plants, with high quality equipment manufactured and delivered with AEG's assistance. This has given us the confidence to invest in the License for two key territories involved in the forestry and wood processing industry in Canada and to complete negotiations with a major off taker for up to 1 million tonnes of CoalSwitch™ per annuum from installations in the Territories."

I'm curious who thinks a legal team would advice such an open letter if the case has merit?

Garth makes valid points. I've now read open letter it is clearly from Grand Chief himself and he is not happy. I guess that the company will try and have it removed and if there's doubt he can back it up the GC will probably be advised by lawyers to take it down. If he's sure he can fully back up his letter I reckon he'll leave it up and say bring it on. I googled the guy and my money is on the latter. Regime change and maybe a stronger company going forward the goal? The Spinks narrative is not right in my view he could easily take a public position on this himself and he's stayed out of it so far. Depends if this goes legal as GC would have to give evidence to back up his statements and that can't be good. Shows board can't manage relationships though, if GC didn't help AEG in the past we would be on another share chat this one probably wouldn't be here like Rowans previous plc mentioned on another post on LSE yesterday which I didn't know about before so this has been enlightening already for me. All IMO only but lets hope this is water under another bridge sooner than later. That'll depend how the board react and manage crisis I suspect so not holding my breath for now
