That's the most evasive yet about the Hull tricoya plant. How much will it cost to dismantle it?

The looming question still stands.Currently, demand < supply. That's why they need to invest in more sales and marketing people to get more units shifted.With the new USA plant increasing production by 50%, will they be able to find buyers for all? Or will the USA plant be horrendously under utilised and a huge lossmaker?

Update on financing of Hull Tricoya plant - Accsys is committed to coming to a resolution with respect to the future of its Tricoya plant in Hull in H1 FY2025. Accordingly, Accsys has appointed a financial advisor to assist with its search for a strategic and / or financing partner. Accsys will provide an update in due course.

They already sell in the USA.Current production capacity is 80000m3In FY23 they sold 56,568m3In the past few years they had more demand than supply. In 2023 it flipped. Excess production capacity atm. And we're about to get 50% more production capacity when USA plant comes online.

The looming question.... +50% more factory capacity coming on stream in USA.But demand is still soft!Where's the extra demand going to come from? Will the USA factory be hugely out nprofitably operationally on low sales volumes for many quarters to come?Who's going to foot those losses?

Probably use this as an excuse to finally kill off the zombie Hull tricoya plant. Always seemed to be a dog of a company full of porkies so not a surprise to me.

Wow - really surprised by this profits warning and defo did not see it coming. If AXS is suffering conditions must be really bad for other building suppliers and likely has wider implications for the economy(s) as a whole.
