27/9/2016 14:07 | Spud:- Trading in 1k tranches for a such low volume share as ASCO can be an influence. If you make the assumption that each deal is a discrete buy or sell then a 1k deal equals a 2k Daily Trading figure or 10% of a normal day and for 1 in 4 days it is more than 25% of a days trading. ‘ Daily Trading Volumes stats based on ADVFN data since 31/12/2015 ‘ Max________4,889,322 One100_______278,920 Q3____________53,679 Median________20,150 Q1_____________8,822 Minimum__________238 | togglebrush
27/9/2016 13:37 | Probably a rollover | helpaargh
27/9/2016 13:20 | spud - or anyone - do you have any view on why there are so many in effect duplicate trades at the same price - today recently 2 buys of 659 and 2 of 115. This has happened regularly over quite a time period. and fully agree he trade data needs to be looked at very specifically to determine what is going on as it regularly trades the wrong side of mid price | janeann
27/9/2016 12:31 | Panic - That's exactly what I do at the appartment in San Pedro, when i'm not dodging rain showers back in Old Blighty. spud Edit: Don't believe the ADVFN Buy/Sell data. 1379.5 to buy and 1376 to sell currently. The two largest trades today have been a 5k & 7.5k buy. | spud
27/9/2016 12:06 | Spud done well, better price than directors selling millions of pounds worth of stock around 900p, I bet they could kick themselves. | montyhedge
27/9/2016 11:08 | Good work though, not a bad pot generated at all circa 180-750 Well done ! | panic investor
27/9/2016 10:18 | WOW EC! 300,000 at the peak of £17 - that would have been some serious retirement cash! :-) | itchycrack
27/9/2016 09:08 | Taken another 1k. spud | spud
26/9/2016 21:39 | Well done, spud, for hanging on to your shares. I had 300,000 of these once, at an average of 26p - sold them all between about 180p and 750p. Made a lot of money but .... what might have been! | effortless cool
26/9/2016 20:45 | Back to the subject though - people will be flocking to new attractions especially in the world were about to see - they're going to need some fun/escape time | panic investor
26/9/2016 20:22 | Blimey spud if that's in an ISA you could walk away quite nicely and not bother with this game !Live by the sea and drink gin and tonics | panic investor
26/9/2016 20:01 | No, sold 19k shares between £14.03 & £17.27 all in 1k increments so as not to spook the Market. I've since been buying them back, again in 1k shares increments at substantially below my individual sale prices, hence the profit comment. At no time did I dip below a core holding of 112k shares. spud | spud

26/9/2016 19:19 | "All the stock I sold on the way up.." This post suggests there was no selling on the way up: spud - 29 Jul 2016 - 17:24:29 - 1528 of 1728 Bought my first tranche @ 21p way back and accumulated on the way up so i guess I'm in the 50 something bagger club too. Luckily I've still got most of them. According to ADVFN Portfolio daily performance, they've gone up over £109k today... The old buy & hold adage still holds true! spud | orange1
26/9/2016 17:57 | Is that £14? | from8to800
26/9/2016 16:26 | Getting close to the point where Institutions will start nibbling again imo. I'm just buying back all the stock I sold on the way up for a nice profit. Still got 14k to repurchase. Happy days. | spud
26/9/2016 02:12 | From today's Mail - good news for ACSO: "Legoland plans parks in places far, far away: Star Wars-themed attractions prove popular with tourists By City & Finance Reporter for the Daily Mail Published: 21:54, 25 September 2016 Legoland could be set to almost double the number of theme parks it has across the globe. The group, operated by Merlin Entertainments, is understood to be looking to expand. As well as three new planned openings in Dubai, Japan and Korea the firm is believed to have submitted an application for a park in New York. It is also thought to want to expand into China, with Beijing or Shanghai earmarked as possible locations. There are already six Legoland parks across the world in Windsor, Malaysia and the US, where its Star Wars-themed lego attractions are extremely popular with tourists. A New York site would be the group’s third in the Unites States. etc" | rivaldo
22/9/2016 12:02 | ACSO seem to have wanted to get into Chinese theme parks for a number of years with no obvious success AIUI. However buying a deficient company that thinks it knows about queuing is obviously not the way to go. | shanklin
22/9/2016 11:23 | I agree! Don't touch any chinese company - the're all toxic waste! And that's from more than one bitter experience! The're impossible, stubbon and constantly try to rip you off! ARGH!!!! | itchycrack
22/9/2016 11:14 | dnair - Galasys is toxic - no-one in their right mind would touch it with a bargepole. Recent events just show how right acso was not to get involved in the first place. | supernumerary
22/9/2016 11:09 | Galasys offers a way into both China and Disney - the recent boardroom upheaval and de-listing from AIM might be an opportunity. | dnair28
22/9/2016 10:15 | Spud Per the link you provided, I wonder what sort of Chinese company TB would be looking to buy to increase penetration there. I struggle to see why it would need to be particularly expensive. in terms of a dividend, I am sure we won't see one until ACSO is generating so much cash that the projects to profitably invest it on internally can all be adequately funded, which may be several years off given all the roll-outs taking place. Interesting article, thank you. Cheers, Martin | shanklin
