08/7/2016 18:20 | Accesso are one of two exceptional technology companies picked out in this story... | davidosh
08/7/2016 16:02 | Factoring in an immediate increase in profits of 10% due to the weak £ v $, we should find ourselves at a new high 1430p. All imo.. spud | spud

30/6/2016 15:34 | Nice..... "1046 GMT N+1 Singer upgrades Accesso Technology Group to buy from hold. Says "we have identified Accesso as possessing multiple defensive qualities--resulting from its geographic, market and currency exposure--that should help insulate the business from increasing economic uncertainty post the Brexit vote." These, together with a more attractive valuation and upgrade potential arising from conservative expectations around growth and the theme parks operator Merlin rollout, has promoted the move, the brokerage adds. Keeps 1,280p target price. Shares trade 1.8% higher at 1120p." | rivaldo

30/6/2016 13:58 | Carcosa - thanks for your response, dollar domination indeed, have to confess I thought the UK was low but not as low as 3%. So a UK recession would be trivial on revenue. | alphabeta4
30/6/2016 13:02 | >The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent. I've been out since Monday. One to keep on watch though. | from8to800

30/6/2016 10:27 | Well I have placed a few more chips on ACSO on the basis that I hope it will become less irrational in coming days. | shanklin
30/6/2016 10:16 | Logic suggests exactly that, however the Market is ever irrational! spud | spud
30/6/2016 09:57 | Difficult to see why the referendum result did not give rise to ACSO going up circa 8% due to the change in GBP vs USD rather than down about 17%. | shanklin
30/6/2016 09:48 | Dollar domination ! I am sure weather is still the most important factor for our earnings. | davidosh
30/6/2016 09:26 | Revenue Activity Breakdown as of 31 Dec 2015 92.8% - US & Canada 3% - UK 2.2% - Central & South America 1.7% - Other Europe 0.4% - Australia | carcosa
30/6/2016 09:19 | Interesting how this took a hit along with everything else on the Brexit vote. Does anyone know roughly how much revenue is £ vs US Dollar denominated? Outside of the currency side revenue wise all I can see is a reduction in UK theme park revenue in the event of a recession, I struggle to see the US being impacted that much. Again, if anyone knows this revenue split it would be greatly appreciated! | alphabeta4
24/6/2016 14:54 | Yup. As I stated before, as a hedge, this doesn't get much better!spud | spud

21/6/2016 10:35 | From Amati VCT2's monthly factsheet out today: hxxp://amatiglobal.c "The biggest contributor to performance in value terms was again virtual queueing and ticketing specialist Accesso Technology, which reported that it had made a strong start to the year, with 18 contract wins and strong momentum across the whole business. Good progress is also being made with the rollout of last summer’s landmark global ticketing contract with Merlin Entertainments, which will include more than 100 attractions and will extend Accesso’s international exposure from 6 to 22 countries, underpinning future revenue growth and fully justifying its premium valuation." | rivaldo
20/6/2016 13:42 | Good to see Six Flags talking about further expansion, this time to Saudi Arabia. Will the men and women have to have separate admission times? | rivaldo
17/6/2016 07:25 | Two terrific new validations for ACSO's systems and software.... Firstly, the manager of the River & Mercantile UK Dynamic Equity Fund says this: "Merlin Entertainments, which operates theme parks worldwide, was recently added to the fund. The theme park operator is seeing growing demand for its content-based parks, such as Legoland. Using new and efficient ticketing software could also improve cash flows, which could subsequently be used to rollout more leisure parks." And secondly, last night Six Flags announced they'd won an award from CIO re companies from around the world that "exemplify the highest level of operational and strategic excellence in information technology (IT)": "The Six Flags IT team is proud of its role in enhancing guest satisfaction across all 18 North American parks. With over 42,000 employees and 29 million guests visiting each year, the company’s systems are designed to drive efficiency, foster better decision making via data analytics while presenting guests with real time park information through the use of the company’s new mobile application. “We are very excited to be recognized by CIO magazine,” said Six Flags Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Michael Israel. “Using the latest technologies in mobile application and interaction, our guests can take advantage of the various services we have developed, from interactive park maps to accessing ride wait time, all on a native commerce platform using Android & Apple Pay.” | rivaldo
