25/5/2017 17:43 | The drop today and yesterday looks way overdone. I took a position of 15 grand at 260p. Always fearful of catching a falling knife but hopefully I have called this one right Hi Glenkaz. I am sure you will get back to your buy price soon | guyswonga74
25/5/2017 16:52 | novice, agree with your post 328 saying that the Tanzi's dealing with a major co. is totally different than with an AIM minnow. I see 2 late buys of 700k and 203k shares on advfn. Perhaps the whole event is a set up job by the Govt or officials in the Ministry to sink the share price and then buy in cheap, like now. Who knows ? | dumbo4
25/5/2017 16:47 | Time for shorts to go long! | glenkaz
25/5/2017 16:34 | ACA hasn't even received a report from the Tanzanian regime, which their legal team may want to study first before taking/deciding any action. We've had a single press conference with accusations directed at the company, but has wiped off £680m of their MCAP no less. | novicetrade68
25/5/2017 16:25 | topped up more , easy 300p tomorrow | falia
25/5/2017 16:20 | I think the drop has gone too far. Acacia has too much cash and too many valuable assets to be priced at this level, even given the current problems. So, it's high risk, but I've just taken a position here. | bookwormrobert
25/5/2017 16:13 | Think it's bottomed! | glenkaz
25/5/2017 15:40 | Oh dear! Thank you for the cautionary tale. Pure gamble here then, IMMHO. | gymratt
25/5/2017 15:22 | What happened there, BD? | gymratt
25/5/2017 15:22 | Easy for governments getting their way with AIM tiddlers, but like CEY, it is a different ball game for a regime to get their way with the biggest investor and employer (ACA) in the country. And also Kyrgyzstan has found out it is not so easy to nationalise their biggest investor (Centerra Gold), so Tanzania will likely come to the same conclusion once they've come to their senses. | novicetrade68
25/5/2017 14:28 | Governments can get their way. Churchill mining anyone remember??? | bigdazzler
25/5/2017 14:17 | Novicet yes I got some cey at that timedid got to cey on text above. Possibly will copy in due course but his has to wash out. | edjge2
25/5/2017 14:16 | WELL IF EVILS BOUGHT THEN I,M IN TOO | falia
25/5/2017 14:05 | CEY indeed faced nationalisation and all sorts of legal issues. There was also a lot of scaremongering at the time. Wish I bought at the time! | novicetrade68
25/5/2017 13:57 | Wasn't there a similar problem at cey, no doubt this will be sorted. I have bought today and will add further if it drops. Gov has too much too lose in my opinion. | mustau
25/5/2017 13:55 | I think he's saying that the Govt wants to take over the mine but "it will not get them anywhere since their conduct is seen for what it is: naked breach of contract.". So he doesn't think they will succeed in taking over the mine and therefore he has taken a gamble and bought at 272. Meanwhile Peel Hunt have weighed in to give ACA a good kicking too and have lowered forecast to 237. Easy for them!! Finally sympathy to others who have lost a packet in last few days, I'm one of you!! | fez77
25/5/2017 13:55 | He's probably just taking a punt, like many I suspect at this point here. Bought a measly amount here myself just a few moments back, because I think the market is getting ahead of itself here with worst case scenarios. But it's no doubt risky, buy what you can afford to lose I guess! | novicetrade68
25/5/2017 13:44 | Evil has a very good record over many years of investing, though i find on this occasion his conclusion somewhat puzzling. He appears to be saying that he has bought, whilst acknowledging that in his view the Government wish to take control of the mine. | atlantic57
25/5/2017 13:34 | Evils take on the situation... | pineapple1
25/5/2017 13:27 | Good luck all seems overdone. Company should be talking to the Govt now | mj19
25/5/2017 12:40 | We need an up date from Acacia to calm the market otherwise this could go down below 200p................ | 1corrado
25/5/2017 12:27 | £2-£2.20 SOMETIME TODAY GUYS | falia
25/5/2017 12:22 | MJ19 in 2015 the gold price slumped from 1307 to 1045 and Acacia share price followed it down. What a sad state of affairs. Acacia are Tanzania's largest foreign investor I think. From the 3 March RNS In 2016, gold/copper concentrate amounted to approximately 30% of group revenues. | enami |
