09/11/2012 09:18 | In the event that the board as a whole rejects the offers recieved (if any) as too low, is there any likelihood that the two holders who wish to exit might sell their shares at a meaner level than the board might have wanted? | m.t.glass
09/11/2012 09:15 | I'm surprised we've not heard anything. I assume that if they are discussing this with major holders then those privy to the discussions are restricted from buying/selling? | greenroom78
09/11/2012 09:05 | What sort of offer price do you think would be acceptable to the board? | protean
09/11/2012 09:00 | still all quiet on the API front...would have tohught that a week would be sufficient to make some form of announcement | sportbilly1976
07/11/2012 15:56 | Horrid markets today but API ticking up nonetheless. Dont know if anything can be read into it but still good to see. | cfro
07/11/2012 14:54 | no reported buys behind the latest move up...IG on phone only again since this morning too hopefully able to gather a bit of momentum now into new high territory | sportbilly1976
07/11/2012 13:02 | 2 25k trades at the same price suggest it was a transfer | sportbilly1976
07/11/2012 10:29 | Byers in here today - if that's a 25K sell @ 73p there's a keen buyer out there imo. CR | cockneyrebel
07/11/2012 09:50 | Greenroom, was thinking the same..tick up coming and to new highs? | sportbilly1976
07/11/2012 09:49 | Yes, just gone 3v1. A bit more and should start moving up again. | protean
07/11/2012 09:48 | Bit of buying again this morning and MMs on the move. | greenroom78
06/11/2012 18:07 | I hope they had no offers to be honest, unless they are at a very good price. Results are in a month's time and that should reveal how cheap these are imo, especially with that large contract that starts in H2. That's part of the reason they delayed even looking for buyers imo. Remember the only reason these are up for sale is because API doesn't fit the strategy of the two largest shareholders and they want out at a realistic value. I'm sure the board don't want to sell up the way they are performing, imo. Got to be an offer over £1 a share to feel we've had at least something like fair value imo. CR | cockneyrebel
06/11/2012 14:52 | seems I didn't miss much last week then... speed - I'd agree, although I might have hoped for some indication of what they did receive in terms of number of offers and to say they are analysing them and will update when appropriate | sportbilly1976
06/11/2012 14:28 | Still no announcement. I take that to be encouraging. I assume they must have received offers of some kind + they are analysing them to see which, if any of them, are worth pursuing. I presume they will also be liaising closely with the strategic investors that have called for the company to be sold in order to agree with them what is worth pursuing. | speedsgh
02/11/2012 15:13 | They're under no obligation to RNS the current situation, as it's merely part way through the bids/discussion process already announced. They already said what would happen after bids were in: "..will then be invited to submit indicative proposals to the Company through Altium by no later than 31(st) October 2012. The Board will consider indicative proposals and may consult with the Company's major shareholders before determining whether to continue or terminate the sale process. If appropriate, selected participants will then be given access to more detailed due diligence information through an online data room and management presentations, following which revised proposals shall be requested. As a final stage, the Board would expect to engage with one or more participants with a view to agreeing an offer, which it is able to recommend for acceptance by shareholders. The Board reserves the right to alter any aspect of the formal sale process as outlined above or to terminate it at any time and in such cases will make an announcement as appropriate. The Board also reserves the right to reject any approach or terminate discussions with any interested party or participant at any time. There can be no certainty that any offer will be made for the Company, or even proposed, or as to the level of any proposal or offer that may be made..." Nowhere in that does it say "we will inform the market" at any particular stage prior to the very end of it all. | m.t.glass
02/11/2012 10:30 | there should be an rns either way - they simply should not stay quiet on this. | edwardt
02/11/2012 08:21 | It has to be, I think they would've said yesterday that the period had closed and the company had received no interest. I'm a little surprised they haven't said that they have had interest though if only to prevent a leak. | greenroom78
02/11/2012 07:37 | BBD, My thoughts also, as you say if no offers or interest have been expressed, I'm sure we would have seen an announcement by now. ic2... | interceptor2
02/11/2012 07:21 | I'm seeing this as no news is good news. Pretty sure they would have announced by now if no buyer had been found. Anyone agree? | bigbigdave
01/11/2012 16:02 | sadly i will not be there with flask of coffee , i have better things to do with my weekend like watch the x factor!! | edwardt
01/11/2012 15:56 | As suspected it was Crystal Amber buying yesterday, 195k @ 72.42p and 85k @ 70p, now at 8.84%. edwardt, good idea, please post an update on what you find out :o) ic2... | interceptor2
01/11/2012 15:27 | surely something from the company by monday? maybe worth driving by their offices over the weekend to see if the lights are on till the wee hours - i am joking! | edwardt
01/11/2012 15:01 | I presume the October 31st deadline is something that some potential bidders will have intentionally ignored - saving their powder till the result of that first initiative is declared. | m.t.glass
01/11/2012 14:40 | Some might start off low which could very well lead to counter offers as you say Greenie. | cfro |
