Had a good look at those results picture beginning to look a bit rosier. You can buy the compnay for 12m and there are 26 m of assets. Declining debt dividend yield of 4% and the future looks a little more positive. I remain of the view that it is excellent value at these levels

hybrasil,are you from leeds?do you know anybody who works for abbey crest?if so try talking to the people who have worked for abbeycrest for a while and get feed back from them what they think about the company and where its heading if you can,it always helps when buying shares in a company to have your nose to the ground

He's being buying solidly on every price dip over the last 2 years.
And there have been plenty of them.

Nearly 2m shares trade since Friday. This seems to me to be a little more than the result of an IC tip. Is there something else afoot?

This is a case when the mms really have you screwed. The nms is 1000 shares which means the 25k I bought earlier still hasnt showed up.
Yet electronically they are now bid for 75000 shares. Something wrong there.

I bought more again this am at 54.9 and have probably reached my quota in this share. I have bought all the way from 48p to 75p.

Well- The investors chronicle tip (best value shares for 2005) repeats what has been said on this board about assets. It certainly had an effect on the share price. I still think it has a long way to go from here.

You're certainly persistent with this stock hybrasil!

Personally, I won't invest in it again until it stops
disappointing and produces clear evidence of better trading.

Of course if this proves to be the case I won't be investing
at the bottom, but it avoids having capital tied up and the
seemingly never ending mediocre announcements.

Cheer up Hybrasil.
The tide may have turned.
I tried, but failed, to buy at 49.5p earlier in the week. Then did not put an order in for yesterday, when I could have got some, and they've moved on today.
Can't decide now whether or not to bother.
I don't have much spare cash at the moment.
But I do get the feeling that they've not so much turned the corner, as have got all the bad news out of the way, for a good while.

Changed my mind I bought a load more this am have not printed as yet.
Apparently IC or shares magazine have given this a strong tip.
In my view it is way underpriced.

As I read it -no.
They say their profits wont exceed last years thats still roughly 1.8 million whats wrong with that.
I will try and buy some more if I can get them at the 40p range.

Thanks. It was really his comments on other companies that interested me. I gave up on Abbeycrest some two months ago, thank heavens.
