01/11/2013 14:51 | rivaldo, probably not right for me to copy the whole article here on a public bb so soon after publication, but suffice to say that the piece was very bullish. Nothing particularly in there tho that we dont already know. Just basically says that the IPO was to raise finance for the new facilities that is already bearing fruit with a £1.7M order for an unnamed Japanese car manufacturer. And the idea is to expand further into Asia where R&D spend at £2.5Billion+ is the most significant markets for automotive research. | cfro
01/11/2013 14:11 | Big buy at 170, 32K shares. | ryandj2222
01/11/2013 12:26 | Wondered when the drop would happen....lol | wylecoyote
01/11/2013 11:38 | Cfro, my post 135 is a little limited as to what was in the Shares Mag article! Any gems you can share with us? | rivaldo
01/11/2013 10:51 | MM scrambling for stock? | wylecoyote
01/11/2013 10:06 | Great write-up in this weeks shares mag that appears to be getting ABDP motoring today. :-) | cfro
31/10/2013 18:52 | Wow what a finish. | wylecoyote
31/10/2013 15:03 | Thanks rivaldo, looks like the timing of the RNS ties in with the share price reversal today. I also head that ABDP had a good write up in the Share mag today. ic2... | interceptor2
31/10/2013 14:14 | Good news today. Miton Group have increased their stake from 1.834m shares in their last holdings RNS to 2.009m shares, or just over 12.3% - so they've bought another 175,000 or so shares. Quite a vote of confidence in a small cap company: | rivaldo
29/10/2013 14:20 | Still only valued at a pe of around 15 against forecasted earnings of 10p. That is not expensive in itself considering the growth potential. However, we know that trading is 'brisk' and therefore there is likely to be broker upgrades to earnings estimates which would bring the pe down to an even lower figure. | cfro
29/10/2013 10:00 | So the breakout is underpinned by good volumes. I am happy...thanks Riv | wylecoyote
29/10/2013 09:51 | My guess is the 150p trade was a buy from earlier (despite being timed at 9.33), as given ABDP's illiquidity I'm sure otherwise it would have caused more of a fall. It would certainly explain today's rise - perhaps the MMs knew a big order was in the pipeline. | rivaldo
29/10/2013 09:38 | Riv, I thought as much. Anyhow, was that 100k trade a buy or sell? Wow, it hasn't caused the share price to drop yet. | wylecoyote
29/10/2013 09:29 | Hi Wyle. There won't be dividends for a while yet, and they would be a waste of time at the moment. ABDP have made it perfectly clear that they are in a growth phase and will utilise their cash pile to grow the company both globally and in terms of applications/new products and areas of expertise. | rivaldo
29/10/2013 08:34 | Riv, I am happy to hold here as this is clearly a niche/specialist area with some good potential for growth. However, what do you think is the chance that they will pay a dividend in the future? | wylecoyote
29/10/2013 08:25 | Exciting times Roll on 7th Nov! | nickg2
29/10/2013 08:16 | Thanks riv. Strong breakout yesterday and extending its gains further this morning. | cfro
29/10/2013 07:34 | I realised I'd missed an additional source of potentially large revenue streams from ABDP - this is from their AIM admission RNS: "Driverless vehicle track testing - remote vehicle path following under dangerous conditions" Driverless vehicles are about the biggest thing going on at present globally. The Sunday Times had a big feature on them this weekend, and many unexpected companies are entering the field - including Google. From the Sunday Times: hxxp://www.thesunday Extracts: "Beep! Driverless cars to run on the pavement Dominic Tobin and Sian Griffiths Published: 26 October 2013 DRIVERLESS cars are to be launched on Britain's streets for the first time - and will share the pavement with pedestrians. The self-driving "pods" will carry two people plus their baggage and glide along a separate lane from pedestrians at speeds of up to 12mph. Sensors will enable the vehicles to avoid obstacles, including people, and are so sophisticated that the pavement division will eventually be removed. Passengers will use a smartphone app to pre-book the pods or "hail" them on the street. The first of a planned 100 electric vehicles will take to the streets of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, which has helpfully wide pavements, from early 2015 as part of a £65m five-year project. If successful, they could be introduced in towns and cities across Britain." David Willetts, the minister for higher education at the business department, which is backing the trial, described it as the start of "a science fiction future" that will transform how we live." "Last year, Willetts tried a Google driverless car, one of the earliest models, during a trip to California. Google's vehicles have driven more than 400,000 miles without an accident and are being legalised in American states. "One aim is to see if driverless cars are safer, so we can cut road traffic accidents. They don't get drunk or drive under the influence of drugs, they don't get exhausted and fall asleep," said Willetts. He said winning the technology race was crucial to the future of Britain's motor industry. Large manufacturers including Ford, Jaguar Land Rover and General Motors, which owns Vauxhall, have expressed interest in becoming involved with the trial. The project is part-funded from a new £50m "transport catapult" fund that includes money from the business and transport departments and industry." | rivaldo
28/10/2013 14:58 | Yes a breakout, and it looks fairly strong with volume to support the rise. ic2... | interceptor2
28/10/2013 14:54 | a breakout then? | wylecoyote
28/10/2013 13:49 | Good to see buying coming in today at 137p and at these new highs. Wyle, the improving climate for autos will certainly help nicely. But for ABDP the big gains will imo come from the newly opened Far Eastern and other offices and distribution channels. | rivaldo
28/10/2013 09:22 | Hello Riv, PDG and CFYN's have exploded out the block. Plenty of headwinds in the car/automobile sector at the moment. Let's hope that reflects in plenty of demand for ABDP services and encourages the car manufacturers to up their R&D... | wylecoyote
25/10/2013 14:15 | New highs. And ABDP are recruiting: "Anthony Best Dynamics is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of advanced driving robots used for vehicle development. The company exports over 95% of its output and invests substantial resources in research. Its many clients include Ford, Toyota, Daimler, BMW, Volkswagen and Honda. We are looking for a technician to expand our team in the manufacture of small runs of high quality, hand built test equipment. The role will involve assembly, final bench testing, diagnosis of problems, calibrating, and packing. etc" | rivaldo |
