02/5/2018 16:32 | They were near this level in 2014 with 114 days and debtors 31% of turnover. Last year 105 days 29% of turnover. They have no debtors over one year. | slopsjon2
02/5/2018 13:27 | Ahh - thanks for the explanation. | glaws2
02/5/2018 13:22 | My original comments were excited due to TR having ballooned at H1. Which ever way you splice or dice trade and other receivables the pattern has deteriorated markedly over the past 3ys. | staverly
02/5/2018 12:36 | Staverly - I'd seen the credit terms in the AR - but could find no reference to DSO either there or in the interims. | glaws2
02/5/2018 11:36 | p43 N11: " ... normal trade credit term is 30-60 days". Worth bearing mind that VAT plays a minimal role here as vast majority of sales are export. | staverly
02/5/2018 08:54 | DSO is days sales outstanding - slippage means it's taking longer to get the cash. AR17 is the 2017 Annual report. However, I can find no reference to DSO either in the AR or subsequent RNS'. | glaws2
02/5/2018 08:33 | what is dso slippage please and ar17 | ali47fish
02/5/2018 07:50 | Several insiders top slicing has historically presented a rare buying opportunity with this stock, but progressive, material DSO slippage is a concern. Note the AR17 states their terms as 30-60, so a figure starting with an 8 is noteworthy. DYOR | staverly
01/5/2018 15:41 | Price back to Friday's level | glaws2
30/4/2018 16:21 | Personally I don't read too much into them; the amounts sold (esp for Hubbard & Neads) are small in comparison to their total holdings. I seem to recall ca comment from the company that they tried to manage director sales so that they were grouped rather than just coming out in dribs and drabs. | glaws2
30/4/2018 15:45 | so what to make of these sales- most of these directors have still skin in the game surely! | ali47fish
30/4/2018 14:10 | As well as Matt Hubbard and Steve Neads and their respective partners. | tratante
30/4/2018 13:31 | see todays RNS, includes sales by FD | robow

30/4/2018 09:45 | Ali,The Investors Chronicle moves to sell last Thursday. The price held up surprisingly well on Friday, but then the dozy sheep all read the magazine over the weekend and have been selling this morning.ED (= EC on mobile) | expletive deleted

25/4/2018 22:24 | The 'Chronic Investor' is living up to it's usual high standards of investment advice! What doesn't it understand of the following statement? : The Group has established a strong forward order book and there remain good opportunities for future growth. We have therefore retained the use of our factory in Holt Road, which is now predominately an assembly area and machine shop, and we will continue to lease and to occupy the majority of our existing smaller sites nearby in order to meet our expected capacity needs. We have purchased land adjacent to our new facility and outline planning permission has been received for an additional unit of approximately 3,000m(2) , similar in size to the new headquarters. Here we have a company doubling the size of it's recently built new headquarters whilst retaining the old factory and most of the 'make space' sites that were taken on to facilitate the company's growth whilst the new premises were being built. What does that tell you about the order book? | knownowt
25/4/2018 21:36 | That's a bit nuts IMHO - looking at analyst forecasts the revenue is a clear beat hence why the share price reacted how it did. Trying to say the whole market is wrong and selling on that basis is asking for trouble - that strategy would yield terrible returns and soon get you sacked as an analyst - probably why they're working for a magazine! | alphabeta4 |
