Hi martinthebrave I'm getting my info from morningstar which only now gives Consensus Forecasts but they are 2018 PTP6.90m EPS 29.30p Div 3.66p 2019 PTP 7.60m EPS 31.80p Div 4.03p thats quite a difference to your numbers.
I'm not saying I'm right and your wrong but I really would like anyone else who has a better infomation feed to give their imput.

martin the brave the current Consensus forecast for 2019 is earnings of 31.8p that would give a p/e of 26.4 at 840p wouldn't it? Taking the forecast for 2018 of 29.3p would make it even higher.

Anyway, I have bought back in today 840p. This may not be the bottom of the pull back but its below where I expected it to reach. Current year PE now C: 18.6x which is pretty good. GLA.

It was the Penny Share Letter which kicked this off. He has done very well over the last 12...18 months. I just happened to buy the two that did worst!

I've done just the same as you tratante, they are way beyond fair value now, but just where IS the top.

Not sure what to think. I sold some on way up thinking it was already a bit frothy, regretting that now. Be tempted to sell some more if I thought we were near the top, and buy back when it's cheaper, but given my track record perhaps I'll hang and just get a few more if it drops. Not worried about long term, but hard to know where it's going in the short term. What's prompted such a dramatic rise? Can't surely be just a few tips?

I thought the options cost looked very high against operating profit as well. It is briefly discussed in general terms in this video interview that some shareholders may not have seen...though the main reason for me posting is that overall I found it extremely informative and perhaps reassuring that the company has a very clear vision

It's not exactly complicated - they have added the share-based payment charge back onto the post-tax profits. There is no need to deduct tax from the share-based payment charge, since it is not a real expense and would not have featured in their tax accounts in any case.

So, share your revelation and tell us why you are you fuming?
