09/10/2019 10:41 | JK I interesting you mention the short position, the shorts have fallen (% to 5% and the share price has collapsed, very strange as I would expect the opposite to have occured. Not holding at the moment. dyor active | srpactive
08/10/2019 15:17 | Afternoon All Much against my better judgement :-) I've taken a modest punt here at 46'ish to keep you company. Good fortune all. | cwa1
07/10/2019 17:40 | Does he mean the FCA's general insurance pricing practices interim report? I managed to add the second batch at just under 50p with one more batch that I don't expect to get filled set at 40p and would take my portfolio upto 6%. I find the drop baffling but not unexpected given the volatility of this stock. | mrscruff

27/9/2019 14:48 | Well spotted PropertyWilly . But it looks like he was forced to hide the Uber news when asked about B2B in the same time, because Uber had news that day about winning back the London contract. BlackRock is now closing their short so I suggest you close yours and so I am buying: hxxps://shorttracker | mrscruff

26/9/2019 15:41 | Bit of a critical juncture for the price here as it's hitting its 200 day moving average, which it hasn't managed to punch through in quite some time... | cassini
26/9/2019 12:41 | Looks like a disaster to me. They need to deal with the debt and their pricing. | mallorca 9
26/9/2019 09:15 | Getting into the b2b space and growing it is very important for AA to diversify. AdaptGrow | cryptotrade

25/9/2019 10:10 | MallorcaYou keep repeating the placing thoughts. Yes, ok. You've said. And? Life moves on. It's not the end of the world. If AA does, it dies. In the meantime, it's here mate and that's how it is. We could sit here Mallorca and say hey, no point living Mallorca because you may die next week or oh you'll die in 30 years. Stating the obvious means little. It's always about making the best of now. Go and do that and stop drowning in negative I said this, I said that. Yes i agree, so what. It does not change today, or tomorrow. | cryptotrade
25/9/2019 09:08 | As above I see a Placing at some point to reduce the debt. | mallorca 9
25/9/2019 09:07 | Edmond, I too have no complaints re the AA service - I have always found this to be excellent. Working from home however (I trade derivatives full time) I only travel around 3k miles per year. For me , the risk of another provider makes sense verses the money saving. I do feel however that the AA is under tremendous threat from lower cost providers and, given their debt pile, it wouldn't take much of a downturn in their sales to cause them problems. | mallorca 9
25/9/2019 08:31 | mallorca9, I'm in exact same boat (Gold member for yonks, as a supposed loyalty benefit) but to date have always haggle-renewed with AA because extensive study of customer reviews suggested insufficient grounds to regard alternative roadside assistance as reliable. It's one thing in insurance, to consider price issues (versus rivals) but the true test of value is the point when it comes to making a claim. In the few times I've needed to call AA, the response has been excellent. Otherwise you may be reliant on local garages (coming to rescue) used by competitors. Unless Greenflag has radically improved its service in the last six months it caused enough howls of anguish online to put me off. RAC similarly unconvincing, to change. | edmondj
25/9/2019 08:20 | Jaknife, you're short Intu … it has gone up you're long here … It's a short my friend … the AA is in trouble, an old fashioned out of date brand just like TCG. Until yesterday I was an AA Gold Member with 15 years continuous membership. Year after year I would receive a ridiculously high renewal price, only for this to be reduced when I haggled on the telephone . This year I became bored with this ritual . My renewal quote was £220 pa. I have taken out alternative , perfectly adequate cover , with another provider for £55 pa. This included all the main features of the AA quote. The debt will cripple AA along with a fall in members. Eventually the debt will have to be re negotiated at higher interest rates. To clarify my earlier comments , I see a future placing with a view to debt reduction. | mallorca 9 |
