Hi Prof, don't you ever wish that Zaf would stop this farce of being a mini conglomerate because we all know its all about VS - surely he should sell what he can of the portfolio and plough everything back into VS - He and his sidekick own about 5% so with our 7% he could get himself elected to the board and concentrate on creating maximum value when VS eventually IPO'S OR is SOLD to a tech giant. As said before his personal stake could be worth upwards of £10 million so why on earth would he want to fart around with the other assets that don't really add up to a bucket full of spit, just saying like!

Just re-watched Zafs interview with Zak Mir from 7 March.

It's quite true and obvious that conglomerates, or in this case so far, a "mini-conglomerate" are never truly valued by the markets, the sum of the parts always being much worth than the price the market puts on the whole.

So, for true intrinsic value to out here, VS as our largest investment, will have to continue to gain traction, and announce more contracts. According to Beaufort we are trading at a discount of around 66% to the value of our total investments.

That is unsustainable.

They have put a current value on VS of around £240m. When they announce more contracts that value will naturally rise and the gap between that and the valuation the market puts on LEG will widen.

Zaf also said that the share price was around this level due to the impatience of some, which I couldn't agree more with. It is just a question of waiting for VS to come up with the goods, increase their value sharply, and then see what Zaf is going to do.

If VS float at anything like their current valuation then I believe LEG's price will rise to reflect that.

All imho and DYOR.

Not much "staying power" here unfortunately, despite you high rollers hoovering up on any drop. Curious.

One of the quietest days here for some time.

The calm before the storm?

Shouldn't be a problem KK, I do them all the time if I can't get a quote - usually show as per normal.

Could show after the close or tomorrow.

I'm hoping for an RNS pretty soon, maybe that's why it's being kept quiet!

Very strange your trade not showing KK, still if you have the electronic c/note you know you have them.

For some odd reason, some trades are held back, this may not show until the morning now.

Hi KK - that's who I use. May be a delayed trade.

Dr J. - Easily the best broker in the UK. Superb website, helpful staff, low commissions for active traders, free advice on Pensions, ISA's, some great in house funds too.

I should apply for a job there!

By the way, most people have their tea on a plate, not the wife.

My one doesn't keep still long enough for that!

Hi Dr.J and KK.

I gave up in the end and went out for lunch!

Very quiet day all round here, but hope springs eternal.

At least that's what she told me.

Good morning all.

I note the $30 jump in the gold price will be good for our gold interests.

A pleasant day to all.

You see this quite often after an RNS containing excellent news.

Profit-taking is always inevitable obviously, but those who have the patience here will be the ones amply rewarded.

May juggle some funds around for another top-up today, need to add 12m more for my 50m target.

Morning KK - yes that's gone through my mind a few times.

Either way it would be beneficial for LEG. If they wanted to reverse in, then if our other assets were performing well, would Zaf either sell them or bundle them up as a subsidiary company?

I realise our stakes in those others are pretty small beer, but it would only take one of them to start performing as VS has for LEG's value to increase markedly.

All this, of course, is based on the supposition that VS actually want to come to the market. I reckon even if they are seriously thinking about, they will want quite a few more contracts under their belts before they take the plunge.

I wonder would it be cheaper for VS to reverse into LEG or to float on their own??

Have a good day all LEGGIES.
