09/3/2017 07:52 | Morning all. Morning Evans. Thanks for your reply. Yes, in the RNS it was stated that VS actively talking to other retailers, their list of clients now is pretty blue chip all round. RTW1 thinks Sainsbury's could be next. There is also to come the decision on whether "The Edge" will be rolled out across the whole NHS. Given the state of the NHS I'd reckon it would be pretty much nailed on. My conclusion is that we are in for a quite a few RNS's over the coming months, all of which should be positive. Like many here I've been accumulating on any dips and when additional funds have allowed. There are some pretty large holders of stock on here now and each positive RNS will only increase the value of VS, LEG and demand for the stock. The icing on the cake to me would be a VS float, I reckon it's more than 50/50 that we'll see it by the end of 2018. GL. PP | ![]() professor pettigrew
08/3/2017 22:32 | PP - thanks for your response, it's appreciated. I had questioned whether LEG would require to inform shareholders of VS commencing process to list, though it would appear that is not the case. What happens thereafter would be anyone's guess. I have seen posts from RTW previously, though appears to be focussing efforts elsewhere. My average is .27, hopefully profit comes soon. Evans. | evans10

08/3/2017 12:42 | QUINAN - I'm sure they won't be long in coming. I doubt Beaufort have guesstimated their £240m valuation. As night follows day, more contracts for VS means a higher valuation. We are already only trading here at less than a third of our current valuation. I think once more contracts are announced (and let's not forget our other holdings prospects), we will get to the 1p level for LEG a lot quicker than any believe. | ![]() professor pettigrew
08/3/2017 12:21 | MM's getting a bit twitchy? A spread of 20% is plainly ludicrous. Obviously trying to deter some buying. | ![]() professor pettigrew
08/3/2017 12:15 | The trouble is the market wants to see some numbers from VS once that hits the floor LEG will zoom past 1p-2p | ![]() quinan
08/3/2017 12:04 | Come now KK. Can you EVER have enough of a good thing? There are some here with serious holdings, and when the full value of VS is realised and out to the wider market place, the MM's will be squeezed very hard indeed. | ![]() professor pettigrew
08/3/2017 12:03 | Good post PP personal I think if they go for a float LEG may as a way of gratitude be offered first refusal to increase our holdings at a discounted rate?? Also the way VS is going it would be madness to sell out when the VS valuation could quadruple in 1-2 years along with the prospect of a huge Div pay out which would keep LEG going for years?? | ![]() quinan
08/3/2017 12:01 | That was my buy ay 22.5 . Think I have definitely enough now | ![]() kemorkid

08/3/2017 11:51 | Strong buying and support around the 0.21/0.22p mark. The gradual move upwards begins here. | ![]() professor pettigrew
08/3/2017 10:18 | Evans, From memory this is the rough timetable. VS would have an adviser, broker and possibly help from a merchant bank, although the latter isn't strictly necessary now as it was so much back in the 1970-80's. I would think LEG shareholders could possibly be the last to be notified - Zaf and the board would obviously be first. Bedaufort have already put a valuation on VS of around £240m after the John Lewis deal. If you do the sums, and Beaufort are more or less correct, then our 7% stake is worth around £17m. We have in excess of £500k in cash and investments in other companies, so a rough guess for a LEG valuation would be around £20m, roughly equivalent to Beauforts current target price of 0.7p. This was only after the JL deal, so more contracts won by VS would increase their valuation, and by association, ours too. The nomad (VS broker) would do their own slide-rule valuation and in conjunction with the board of directors decide how much they needed to raise. An example last week was SNAP. Originally the board were in favour of a float price between $14-15. The advisers went for $16-17 and the first day they closed around $24 to climb to $28 before falling back a bit. Obviously any VS float price would have to take into account the future prospects there. Currently they are extremely bullish indeed. As for the last bit, it could affect LEG in a number of ways. For instance the IPO (if it happens) could be at a such a high valuation that our current 7% holding is worth a very large amount, many many times the current feeble valuation for LEG of around £6m. It could be that Zaf decides to "take the money and run", especially if in the meantime LEG have identified some other lucrative opportunities. This would effectively make LEG a very cash rich operation and possibly attract some opportunistic bidders. Or Zaf could carry on with our 7% holding, or he could use the IPO and a very small placing to increase our holding to 10% beforehand. Obviously, I and you and everybody here, is not privy to such insider information, so it's all a guess on my part. One things for sure, is that very exciting times lie ahead here. There are many on this thread who regularly accumulate the stock in anticipation of what is to come. Firstly some more juicy contracts I feel. A poster entitled "ridethewave1" is far more knowledgeable on matters LEG than myself. He is also a very large holder with in excess of 70m shares. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if you sent him a PM to get his views. He's been very bullish on LEG in the past, and hasn't been proved wrong. He has his finger on the pulse, and has said for a while that John Lewis were in the frame. JL is a blue-chip, and a few more contracts for VS with similar names would continue to propel their valuation upwards. Hope this helps. PP | ![]() professor pettigrew

08/3/2017 09:20 | Morning guys! Just looking for a bit of advice, as I'm relatively new to this game (started investing post Brexit)! If VS were to be listed, what is the process? When would LEG shareholders be notified, who values VS, how is the VS share price decided, and how would it directly impact LEG? I assume the last question is fairly straight forward, in that LEG would / should increase to reflect 7% of VS share prices (forgetting all other investments for a minute). Thanks in advance. Evans | evans10
08/3/2017 09:18 | If they keep winning contracts they are going to have to expand and grow and this will require capital - so an ipo is the obvious route As Zaf said they will be going global and when they do a billion pound valuation no longer looks unreasonable | ![]() dibs61
08/3/2017 08:52 | Thank you KK - no action as of yet, but I'm sure Zaf has a lot to tell us. I found yesterday's interview quite informative. He's very low key, but has his finger on the pulse alright. | ![]() professor pettigrew
