White, I did the research you must decide what you consider. William Hill and Rank were going to partner once not so long ago. Just think in broader terms of what is undervalued. I can link the old Articles.

If Rank and 888 Holdings are combined it would make sense to include Rank. Sometimes people need to look at the bigger picture. It may have been on the minds of FS Gaming.

Overall the research I did is sound and makes sense, as I said up to you to consider.

Just to add Draft Kings is trading at $37 with a good outlook to 2028

time 10-06 a couple of minutes ago i checked ent & flutter prices and saw both were up 2%+ so i went back to 888 and suddenly to my amazement it has also jumped 2%

I have been doing a bit of research into the UK Gambling Companies which may be open to bids in the near future. I have concentrated on 3 companies Rank, Entain, and 888 Holdings.

1- Rank on 19/10/23 released their Q1 revenue showing Rank that group revenues were up 11% at £179.6m, with Grosvenor revenues up 13% at £84.2m, Mecca revenues 11% higher at £34.7m, Enracha revenues 9% stronger at £8.9m, and digital revenues 7% firmer at £51.8m.

On 9 November Rank trading shows over 9,412,393 shares were traded and the share price had an uptrend of nearly 20%. No party has yet declared who bought them.

2- Entain presently has an overhang from the investigation from HMRC and has set aside nearly £585 million over 4 years. The judgment once agreed to the terms will be announced in the coming weeks.

From 6 to 8 November 2023, many Directors and Investment Funds bought shares. Dodge & Dox Investment Fund crossed over 10% on 6 November 2023.BlackRock, Inc. increased its stake to over 5% on 8 November 2023.

Since then the share price has drifted on a downtrend.

3- 888 Holdings were open to a bid earlier in the year from DraftKings as listed in The Financial Times on 8 November 2023 but discussions were discontinued due to GC's intervention. Presently FS Gaming still holds 4.55% of the company.

Now you may notice the time frame when all these actions happened between 6 November to 9 November 2023 to the above mentioned. Each of the trading updates mentions Inflationary pressure from each company. A week later UK inflation dropped to 4.6% and many speculated that interest rates would fall in Q2 in 2024.

A week earlier an Article mentioned Private Equity and Investment Funds were looking to run the rule over UK-listed companies. It mentioned Leverage of debt eg Bonds mainly.

It seems a bit of a coincidence that shares are being bought in the above companies and News released as well.

If a bid did come in for 888 Holdings the situation with Entain/FS Gaming is linked to which it will be resolved for all parties. The bid may come in sooner rather than later due to the progress it takes. At that time Q2 2024 would be the closing.

Draftkings would probably offer a share exchange for 888 with a small cash element

Their shares are about £30 at present and so it would not be too surprising to see a 1 for 10 share offer and a small cash offer of 50p per share

So the total offer price for 888 would be about £3.50

I agree. Yes short sellers may be in control but if a bid comes in they will be instantly cremated. Draft Kings have done very well over the last 12 months and would like to expand into Europe.

Would not be surprised to see Draftkings make a takeover bid here at about £3

They would be getting two of the leading brands in the gambling world for a very low price

Forecast eps for 888 is about 30p so it would still be a great bargain for Draftkings to get the William Hill and the 888 brands for only £3

On-going Research with PE and Funds with interest in 888 Holdings. The latest inflation pressure may lead to Interest rate cuts within the USA and UK in 2024. This has increased interest in Q1 2024.
