i do think its a waiting game and if the the prams have not change its same same..and when the well is ready to tell you its changing it will. The 1st thing you will see is an increase on the wellhead gauges saying the lighter fluid is coming in ( reducing the hyd head on the btm )e.g 3596.6mts of 8.9ppg x .052 = so lets get back to ft
as i would just loose you.
11800 x .052 x 8.9ppg = 5461
now lets say you have a 300ft column of gas and gas is classed as .05 gradient.
.05 divide by .052 is .96ppg
the 300ft of gas is=
300 x .052 x .96 = 14.9psi ...if you had a well with a hyd sta press of 5461 and the btm 300ft was now gas u only reduce the hyd press of just 14.9psi.

so the well is 3596.6 mtr .

i don't think the formation press is 8500psi and if it is then ??
13.8ppg gives a press of ...13.8 x 11800 x 1052 =8467psi
sea water 8.9 x 11800 x .052 = 5461...8467-5461= 3006psi
so i get the 3k on surface using s/water ff will be a bit heaver..so were did the 2k+/- go...lets just wait and see as i said the ground laughs at you quiet a lot.

kick related engineering.
When you take a kick you wont see any diff on pressure at surface. what you see is increase in volume,if you take a five bbl gas kick at td you will see a gain of 5bbls at surface...if you don't deal with it ( eg shut in the well ) that 5, turns into many and will blow you all to hell...once the gas comes back to the well after getting pushed by 27.5k bbls away from the well it decrease the hydrostatic press of the ff in the hole ...drill calks...sea water gradient ( lets call that ff ) .465 divide by .o52 = 8.9ppg 8.9ppg x 11800td x.052 = 5487psi acting on the formation of 8500psi is the diff 3015...ok could be the 3500psi..so were did it go once we opened it up??

No the 3500psi at the well head is the gas that came in on the 1st flow...after you shut it in for 7 weeks little drops of gas migrate up the well and join other drops, all heading to surface and causing the build up of pressure..3500psi..when you open upthe well the 3500psi is bleed off..the 1130 is the ff coming back at you. The well is ballooning ... the well hyd is not changing because its still 11000 x .052 x by ppg that will not change till you get lighter fluid into the well. if its a constant 1130psi at surface the well is just giving you the ff back...30% returns before this flows in just ball park fig..once 30% ff is out of the well...guys start to put on the boots and coverall and head down to the coal face...if its still 1130psi and 70bbls a day they will head back in side...the 20% by sunday according to LSE is still days away and it could be 50-60% before you see any lighter fluid coming into the wellbore...you have to understand 28k bbls pumped...with a well cap of 500bbls..this could flow for months at the same prams

if the psi on the surface is going down then its bad news folks...you really need that 1130psi on top if its going down then its curtains..but if you can open the chk and flow 150bbls a day with a back press of 1130psi all good...gas is lighter than oil and once it get into the csg its want to head to the surface ASAP ..i think the kick was not a kick as such, just a bit of wind.

if you want to understand wells..get a dinner plate and draw a line round the circumference and stick your pencil in the middle..now the pencil is the well and the outside of the circumference is were the HC/GAS is now at,why you may ask cos thats what all the pumping done was push the HC/GAS away from the well..its now needs time to come back into the well and go up the well, and if it flows at 70/100bbls a day it could be some time before the HC/GAS gets back to the pencil.

So the well testers ( shlum/halliys)or ANO..pumped 27.837kbbls of ff down the well yes.
now after 30% returns 8.351kbbls you will expect HC/GAS back ok all good.
on the 3rd of sept at 17.30 they had back 370bbls..that now leaves 7981kbbls still to come out of the well.so at 17.30 tonight @ 70bbls a day = another 350bbls have came out of the well for a total return of 720bbls...now 720bbls from 8351kbbls leaves 7631kbbls still to come...7631 divide that by 70bbls a day and the answer is..a long time. On the last RNS it states flowback @ 70bbls a day and 100bbls so what is it?? even at 100bbls a day its still a long way off.

Was in that a while ago, Ceo likes to lie about Warrants, and the H gas, and the dropped tool, and that they had a 3 foot flare all Bs you just can't flare a well with a dropped tool, all lies m8.

what you want to see in the next update is having to adjust the chk to keep BHP constant by opening the chk ...now you can have your 4p party..but if you want to follow a sheep farmer from the waltons well wire in .
