04/9/2017 09:19 | Blimey ... and sometimes I think I am a tad blunt However defcon3 (nice handle) Note the rise in progress Is the OIL coming to the surface ? defcon34 Sep '17 - 06:10 - 13873 of 13903 1 0 Anyone still holding this after the recent rise deserves what happens today. You had ample opportunity to get out on what clearly was a rise on hope. All the signs were there. | buywell3
04/9/2017 08:51 | The choke size is not the real restriction, more the pressure coming from the reservoir. I suspect the choice of small choke and low flow was part of the fine tuning. Generally from the first kick things get a wriggle on, exciting times | squire007
04/9/2017 08:34 | It's actually good news today: it's flowing and they have previously said that up to 30% fluid recovery is required to fully test the well so the remaining fluid will reveal all. | rossowheels
04/9/2017 08:32 | Let the shorters have their day today. I am impressed with 80 barrels from a drill head 1/16th of an inch - that sounds pretty powerfull to me and could cut through steel at those flow rates. The oil is there people so if you can afford to wait until at least Dec where you will get your money plus some then wait until wed or thur as this will come back to 2.5p and then take a loss and move on.Filter the idiots on here as they scare away the posters who can help understand thus business. | francis55
04/9/2017 08:28 | I know this......I said that a few posts back. Fact......there is gas = hydrocarbon. But as R77 says, it is just gas that has perrculated into the top of the well during the shut in period. Ie, it is not flowing gas as such. | 11_percent
04/9/2017 08:25 | not looking good I have to say | lithological heterogeneities
04/9/2017 08:24 | 11%Hydrates form inside pipes. A combination of gas, water and pressure is needed for the hydrates to form. They are a menace because they block pipes and stop flow. Methanol injection prevents their formation. Ice can form on the outside of the choke due to the J-T effect but is simply frozen water from the surrounding air. | unabkxb

04/9/2017 08:17 | OK.. 27,837 bbls of ff ÷ 70 bbls a day = 397 days 30%= 8351 ÷70 = 119 days. 17%?? Been recovered 13% =3618 ÷ 70 = 51 days at this rate, just hope the gas gets into the well soon ----- Looks right. So, another 51 days before we know if we get oil. | 11_percent

04/9/2017 07:57 | You two muppets are filtered so thankfully i cant see your drivel. | francis55
04/9/2017 07:51 | No, the ice will form on the outside of the pipe/manifold/ choke, as the pressure drops, across the choke......not the inside. Does not matter, they are injecting methanol, so the problem is fixed. | 11_percent
04/9/2017 07:48 | 70bblS is not a small flow. 100bbls is commercial. | 11_percent
04/9/2017 07:46 | It is not 1/16th inch bore. | 11_percent
04/9/2017 07:45 | Yes I know that, it's a small amount. If you're having to close the chk then the pressure is depleting, the gas has percolate to surface when the well was shut in 7 week's ago. The gas that caused the Hydrate is little pocket of gas heading to surface over the time that the well was shut in. 70 bbls a day is a small flow so the gas can sit about in the pipe work causing the ice to form and can't escape because you're closing the choke in | ronjoe77
04/9/2017 07:43 | 1/16th of an inch well head on 80b frac. Natural flow is next . | francis55
