05/9/2014 00:46 | Some chat on the lse about possible Boom valuation of a billion pounds (certainly not out of the question in the social media space). That's worth about £2 per share to 7dig holders and this without taking into account any of it's other business or valuable patents! Once a few investors get their heads round this fact, I can forsee a stampede into here. It's looking more and more odds on. The spinning off of Boom by UBC could end up proving a master stroke. Interesting times ahead. | bargainbuyer
04/9/2014 15:24 | No way they should be looking to sell their BOOM stake. That will be worth a lot more soon. | bargainbuyer
04/9/2014 15:18 | These look to have settled down and Level 2 is looking very strong at the moment. | siddle
04/9/2014 15:13 | some peeps.... that might have included me if SC had handled it all differently ! ....grrrrrr !! | smithie6
04/9/2014 14:55 | These wont be below par for too long. Just have a look at the BOD: Powerful Board of Directors for 7Digital Sir Donald Cruickshank, a director of Qualcomm Inc, non-executive chairman Sir Hossein Yassaie, chief executive of Imagination Technologies Group plc Eric Cohen, SVP Corporate Development at Dolby Inc | bargainbuyer
04/9/2014 14:49 | Siddle - take advantage of the price. There is considerably more upside for your money here than Boom at present. You will see when those mm's decide to let this go. | bargainbuyer
04/9/2014 14:23 | Smithie Some peeps make those sort of bets regularly ;-), Loobrush-it's not an App that 7Digital is updating, it's their web-site itself, currently the new site is in beta, I left my feedback last week. You are being confused with BOOM who stated in their recent report that Their new Android and iOS apps would be released in September, they were at pains to state the functionality of the Apps would revolutionise the Audioboo experience S | sweenoid
04/9/2014 14:02 | Very soon the Boom stake will be worth more than the entire 7Dig market cap!!What then, Mr MM? | siddle
04/9/2014 13:59 | 29k pnds buy gone thru on BOOM at 11.75p thats a fair amount of cash in 1 go ! doesnt seem to be little PIs doing the buying | smithie6
04/9/2014 13:45 | Boom very stable now and well in the blue with buyers continuing to pick up stock. It's got a way to go yet..Meanwhile, 7Dig looking even stronger and geared to provide a much better return over the next few weeks at least. Just a little more volume here and these will move a lot higher. Long in both stocks now but this is the one fundamentally undervalued with a lot of catching up to do. Very nice chart too.. | siddle
04/9/2014 12:02 | Loobrush.... tut tut.... "their"....not "there" ! I dont know.....toilet brushes nowadays...!! | smithie6
04/9/2014 10:43 | You still here Smithie I thought that you didn't like this share. Its moving up nicely now on very tiny volume and we can expect it to be back to 60p within a few weeks I expect as there new App comes out and more news is released. | loobrush
04/9/2014 10:31 | is that a buy of 40k shares at 24.4 p !!...before 10am...delayed reporting | smithie6
04/9/2014 08:38 | 7Digital are, "hard at work on a big update to our store" Messages, (below), along the top of their current "Welcome to 7digital" webpage. "We’re hard at work on a big update to our store and wanted to offer you a sneak peek. Preview the new 7digital here." ==================== "We’d love to hear your feedback. Leave the preview and return to the current site here" | tullynessle
04/9/2014 08:35 | Thanks to Masurenguy- the other thread is now cobbled ;-) Well well well, some nice buying volume ......which is nice Seriously when the price settled at the 15p low we had days of ZERO volume which I commented on , seriously ridiculous for a recently quoted company Isn't it surprising that something completely obvious can be overlooked by the market? But the omission in factoring in the 'value' of the Audioboom holding here enables peeps to get a good play on two stocks Now the big question is - what is fair value ? S | sweenoid
04/9/2014 08:10 | I agree that two threads on such a small company is confusing and have followed sweenoid's suggestion and migrated to the other one. Sweenoid - the best way to discourage further use of this thread is to erase the charts, data and news from the header and just insert a statement that the thread is closed and referring posters to the other thread. | masurenguy
04/9/2014 07:57 | did yesterday's rise in share price generate any press comments ? Will be interesting to see how the share price reacts, very few will be able to profit take as the rise happened quickly and the spread is large I will let this run until the Audioboom story fully unfurls OR the profit is too large not to bank ( dreams) 7Digitals results and more importantly forward looking trading statement is on the 30th of September S | sweenoid
04/9/2014 07:52 | Its confusing and unnecessary to have 2 concurrent threads running on any company PLEASE USE THE ALTERNATIVE THREAD FOR ALL FURTHER CONTRIBUTIONS S | sweenoid
04/9/2014 07:47 | We have TWO threads running concurrently on 7Digital This is confusing, unnecessary and simply daft I set up the other running thread first but I DO like the title of this thread I suggest ALL further contributions are made on this thread only S | sweenoid
03/9/2014 23:02 | Thanks to the above posters for some very interesting information. Opportunities such as these very rarely present themselves where the market is caught napping in a big way. The cash, the very liquid stake in Boom and the 7Dig growth business and patents most certainly add up to plenty more than today's market cap. Bought some today and will add a few more for sure - it's got a bagger written all over it. | bargainbuyer
03/9/2014 20:52 | Sweenoid its funny how this blog came out after you and I pointed out the very same things on our threads-I think he has done a bit of advfn plagurism. | loobrush
03/9/2014 20:47 | What is yet to be seen is the real value of 7digital, the gain so far is on its Boom shareholding. What has not yet been factored in is what the 7digital business is capable of on its own. I think this will become apparent in the coming weeks-I would quote "The shift in music delivery from CDs, to downloads and now streaming services, has been dramatic and disruptive to the established industry, opening up massive opportunities for investors. Apple's purchase of Beats headphones and streaming music service for a remarkable $3bn – triple the valuation of last September – is the most recent example. These are still early days in a rapidly evolving market place and industry; however, with its robust platform, huge music catalogue and rights package, 7digital is well positioned to grab a significant slice of this massive global industry." Maybe 7digital could turn out to be the real winner! | loobrush |
