So if true ...and it remains to be seen if it is Will-i-am has chosen the 7Digital platform over BEATS ( now owned by Apple) DESPITE the fact that he was a massive founding investor in that company

If true will be super news , let's see what it looks like first but the guy seems to have a magic investing touch even though I can't stand him ;-)

I have hammered on about the relationship 7Digital has with ALL the key players in the music publishing business ( we used to call them record labels) those negotiations/ agreements have taken years, are multi-- layered , complex and have been the subject of long hard protracted negotiations .... The barriers to entry for new competition are huge, streaming is the future and 7digital are totally underestimated ...because most people just don't understand what they do ;-)

Tie up with Will.I.Am with new smart watch launch this week is great news for 7digital.

With Audioboom stake value and cash taken out of asset value 7digital only valued at a couple of million.
Way too cheap and under the radar with only a few loose shares.

Nothing wrong with my computer and have perfect vision but thanks for the suggestions. Using it on the mobile most of time but not an issue as I only really pop onto this board for a friendly chat, for the great humour and a bit of entertainment.

Perhaps further consideration could be given if the guy ever posts a meaningful, informative or newsworthy post to this thread , let's give him a chance, in the meantime the header contains useful information that is actually helpful for anyone new to this company

no one cares much about one off gains from selling an asset imo
...over time the share price will depend on the on-going perf. or lack of
if perf. is good then price up, if perf. is bad then price down, imo

RNS says
The stake sold today was valued at £1.6 million at the time of completion of the reverse acquisition; hence the Sale has resulted in a £1.9 million profit for the Company. At yesterday's closing price, 7digital's remaining stake in Audioboom was valued at £11.7 million.

A PROFIT IS ON THE CARDS FOR THIS YEAR, MAYBE.

That was unexpected, 7Digital now has plenty of cash so no share issues expected here. However news of big deal expected by Boom soon should get the Boom price reaching new highs again which will also be good for 7digital and we have yet to hear any real news from 7digital. I expect this will come when least expected as 7Digitals price still below placing price of 27p. This can't last long.

key question is whether 7DIG can achieve break even before it burns all its cash/liquid assets

(and the sale today infers that they dont think they are anywhere near that yet !, if they did then they imo wouldnt need to raise cash to cover their cash burn rate...)

At the moment the share seems to be of the radar as I have not seen it mentioned anywhere.
They need to do an interview on Tip TV the same as Bboom or at least do a bit of PR.
Maybe somethings in the pipeline.

Is the 7Digital valuation problem mainly related to communication.

- communication as to the value of its assets and the ability to create revenue and profit

- communication with Institutional investors - "show and tell"

- communication with private investors

- communication with general and trade media


At some time, if the share price does not reflect current value and future opportunity then the Company will be vulnerable to a low-ball offer from private equity, MBO or takeover.
