I think they can turn this around. The business was left in a mess however the new board are on with it.At least they are being honest about the situation unlike Cole who left saying the business is in good shape LOL. The market has taken the RNS well.

Oh dear indeed! Clearly still unable to find cash to pay off the loan notes, and for the third time they repeat:-

"As stated in the announcement on 11 April 2019, the Board's view remains that the Company will require material further equity and/or debt funding. It is likely that such funding will be required by the end of June 2019. Without such funding, the Company is unlikely to be able to continue as a going concern."

As I said, better to wait to see if they survive, trading in the 1st quarter was rubbish (they've told you that), and it's a perilous situation.

Veterans of this thread will remember the excitement generated by the potential opportunities for MQA hi res audio streaming - I note that competitors "Powered by Napster" have just announced support for MQA too...

With over 490 million traded on friday ir shouldn't be too difficult to get the price over 1p

At the moment without a sub-division of share capital, a placing couldn't be for less than 1p per share.

Michael - so investing in 7DIG now is just gambling? What was it when Simon Cole was in charge - putting everything on red on an all-black roulette wheel? It was pretty obvious for at least the last 2 years of his reign that he hadn't a clue.

While the 9th April statement doesn't mince its words about the potential seriousness of the situation, it's also clear that that's by no means certain. Dilution for holders may not be a great outcome, but a small percentage of a thriving company is better than hitting the brick wall that Simon Cole was driving them into.

What strikes me as particularly excellent about the TDC deal is that a small part of a business making such huge losses would typically be sold for a nominal sum, just to get rid of it. Would TDC have paid so much if it wasn't for the threat that 7DIG could go under, leading to huge disruption to the service they rely on and no promise that they could continue using it? The 9th April statement may well have prompted a far better outcome for that deal than they may otherwise have got, and in turn significantly reduced the need for urgent financing.

As you know, there's a lot of good stuff in 7DIG. The sum of its parts is worth hugely more than the current market cap. It's finally well-managed, which is crucial and makes it much less of a gamble than investing in anything run by Simon Cole.

Def just a punt. If the company issues a clarification on Tuesday to say the company still cannot meet its debt then this ranks. Or they might do a placing if they can get it away. Shame 7 dig has come to this....but there was plenty of opportunities today to make up losses so can’t blame those in for a punt!!

post #4869 - You're quite right I did lose money on 7digital (I'm very open about my losers and winners) and I'll continue to watch the 7digital story with interest.

However, I'll leave you and the other clowns to play around with it for the moment.

You're just gambling.

I originally invested because I liked the potential and the possibilities going forward, but the new CEO and CFO have told you just how precarious the position is.

Until the 2018 results are published you have no idea what the accounts are like. Given the very recent 4m Euro settlement didn't help in any way, goodness knows what terrors may await?

The CEO has told you that they will go bust without a big cash injection and that existing clients aren't paying their bills. Trading in the first quarter is poor.

I watch this boiler room behaviour all the time. MOS, SKIN, MSYS, TERN etc are recent examples.

Good luck with your £1000 bet, but I'm quite happy to wait for more clarity, and happy that I sold when I did.

This transaction means that 7digital can now focus its resources on its productised, cloud-hosted technology which is already used by many customers globally

hoping that the ppl that bt at < 0.3p will soon have finished selling/slicing (close to 0.6p; if sell half then the ones left have cost them nothing)

& hence that the amount of sellers will reduce
