18/10/2018 13:51 | You should know you're the fruit machine/casino expert? | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 13:24 | Ah, I see. Are you talking about the type that gets carried away, convinced that his number will come in if he sits around the table long enough, throwing good money after bad? | saul goodman
18/10/2018 13:21 | Most people get "cleared out" at the casinos I'd guess? | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 13:18 | Or good clear out. | saul goodman
18/10/2018 13:17 | You lose the right sort of pounds with a good workout. | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 13:16 | post 3942 - You're on the wrong thread. You need the OPTI thread. | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 13:14 | Prefer the gym. Healthier environment. Each to their own though. | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 13:12 | #3940 Maybe so although, tbf, the odds of winning some random punt now and again in one of these places is significantly higher than when hoovering up duds like this. It has more red flags than a Labour Party Conference. | monte1
18/10/2018 13:11 | I like the "warm, clubby feel" of a premium establishment, I do, me. | saul goodman
18/10/2018 13:09 | Never visit the casinos myself, don't like some of the types that work there or the people that frequent them. ;) Just a personal thing I suppose. | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 13:07 | No, I am irrelevant. | saul goodman
18/10/2018 13:06 | I am as irrelevant as the next avatar. | monte1
18/10/2018 13:06 | "Am I missing something ‘here’ - what is the relevance of Opti in this freebb discussion?" We could ask the same question about you? What is your relevance? | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 13:05 | Quite - some pocket change, mentally written off as soon as the night commenced, with any winnings merely contributing to a sense of ‘good night out’. | monte1
18/10/2018 13:03 | Massive drOPTI for OPTI? ;) | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 13:03 | I do, I love a good gamble at the Casino, I do, me. I dont expect to take any money home with me when I go though, I go for the thrill and the entertainment, if I get lucky then great. | saul goodman
18/10/2018 13:03 | Am I missing something ‘here’ - what is the relevance of Opti in this freebb discussion? | monte1
18/10/2018 13:01 | LOL. I bet you know all about fruit machines Saul. I note that profitability for 2018 for Opti has now been pushed out to 2019 or is it 2020 or 2021? How much revenue did Opti produce so far this year? £80,000 I think. LOL. Opti's market cap is around 6/7 times 7digital's I believe. Interesting comparison. ;) | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 12:54 | No, I think it is in the 100% correct place. This was a fruit machine money punt. Nothing more, nothing less. | saul goodman
18/10/2018 12:52 | Post 3929 was meant for the OPTI thread I believe. | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 12:13 | "It's all very well applying a buy & hold policy, but in the meantime the money could be doing far better elsewhere, like oil or the current bounce in minerals, instead of halving in value." The good old trading myth. Explain why spread betting firms confirm that around 76%+ of retail investors lose money (and it's been a raging bull market)? The odds are stacked against you. Come back in 5 years time and let's see where we are. | michaelmouse
18/10/2018 11:58 | Napoleon I dont see Mediamarkt putting in cash or buying it since ..if my memory is correct..they were losing money with their on-line music venture & got rid of it to 7DIG to stop the bleeding. ---- btw the 5 year chart shows the sad reality for this company. imo incompetent bod who have happily burnt shed loads of money year after year...to just keep going back to the mkt to raise more | smithie6
18/10/2018 11:56 | Simon Cole MD August 2014 ..."..look to the future with confidence" every annual report since he says something similar now almost 2019 years later sp has gone from ~30p to 3p now (6M was raised at 27p in 2014 to buy 7DIG. share price briefly hit ~30p ) ( raised ~ 6.5M in 2017, + ~2Mmore. @4p. 7 times as much dilution vs 6M raised in 2014 ! , to raise similar amount) a ten bagger in the wrong direction !! ( imo SC needs to go (valuation. 0/10) but not that I care much, no position) | smithie6
18/10/2018 11:46 | ..if someone buys the co. some problems I see are - if pay just £1 the real cost is £2-3M 'cause you also take on 2-3M debt, difference between receivables & payables (nett current liabilities) & any non current liabilities as well, any VAT, NI etc - if pay £1 for the company then shareholders get zero each - taking on a loss maker, so buyer would need to be a big player to fund those losses ---- A winding up order could be issued by any one of the companies on the list waiting to get paid. 2-3M of current liabilities & the co. doesnt have the money to pay. If there is one supplier bigger than others (a big music rights owner I assume, Sony ?, Warner ? AN Other...) then one assumes they could call in their bill & own the co. for zero, unless the co. suceeded with a quick cash raise. (but if say Sony owned 7DIG (with 0 for shareholders) then other music rights owner may not want to use a platform owned by a competitor...) | smithie6 |
