CI announces MQA partnership
CI, the digital platform for the independent sector, has announced a partnership with music technology company MQA.

MQA’s technology captures the sound of the original performance and delivers master quality audio in a file that’s small enough to stream.

CI has implemented MQA’s encoding technology into its platform, and is therefore able to create MQA audio files for its label clients wanting to offer studio quality sound on their releases to music services that support MQA.

"We couldn't be more excited to be connecting the independent sector to one of the key innovations that will enable widespread adoption of high quality audio over the next few years," said CI general manager Kieron Faller (pictured).

"Our label clients are now able to create and deliver MQA files using CI to any music service that adopts the MQA format now and in the future."

Mike Jbara, CEO of MQA, added: “CI has impeccable credentials for adopting the latest developments in digital music, and having them as a partner will help accelerate the volume and variety of MQA music on offer. We’re delighted that they are now in a position to offer MQA encoding and distribution on behalf of their diverse client base.”

Maybe the present situation gives you an opportunity to laugh, although it is a character trait that doesnt paint you In a good light.

The lack of liquidity in this share can work both ways. A high volume individual holder keen to cash in can have an impact on the share price i agree that things need to change at 7dig and news on new contracts would be appreciated.

At the moment one can buy at the placement price. Has the recent retrace stifled debate or is there nothing new? Are investors happy with progress?

I didn't know 7DIG was on the Sonos platform and at the top of the list above Amazon Music. Impressive stuff!

Erm just poor. Wake up. Below the placement price - what does shareholder value mean? Is there something we should know?

Indices at record highs, AIM one of the top performing, 7dig down over 7% on the day @7dig we deserve a progressive share price

90% out of gfin now, probably too early but the narrative chimes with investors. The problem here is that this board and the interviews are littered with in a 'few weeks/months' and nothing impacts the share price in a positive manner.

It is time for delivery and to actively increase their profile. I believe they can do it

Tiger - gfin doing well now, but has only really picked up since April, hope you filled your boots before then!I'm comforted here by Miton's large (and recently increased) holding - they are no mugs. Also growth in streaming industry is now real, not hope or speculation. It can be seen that the 7DIG team work hard and are smart folks. Sadly everything in life/business just takes a long time, but hopefully we'll kick on in a meaningful way in the next few months...

Please can we get some news that shifts this sp! The link above is all about the premium customers something I thought SC said we are not competing for, or did I miss something? Only relevant if 7dig have license agreement.

We really need the company to start standing up and delivering. Sc can talk all he wants about the future but i would prefer to see new contracts now. Since inception no holding shareholder has made any money, in fact it is near all time lows at a point we are promised ebitda positive year. I would like sc who comes across as both articulate and erudite to mention the current state and building shareholder value. And if he thinks he is already doing so the market has given him two fingers. Look at the chart. I know Pl willl say the past is the past and it is the future state he is banking on but its the current state that needs improving. We heard talk from his interviews way back and comparing it to the situation at present the company share price is lower...

I dont think i am alone in wanting to see revenue figures. Look at gfin, esports company where the story resonants loud and clear with investors, they know kids love esports, football clubs are signing players, viewing figures growing and perfect demographic for advertisers. Here it is not so easy to selll the idea of scale and operating model. Maybe this is the companies main failure as they are not attracting new investors. Only a thought but i dont see the harm in 7dig addresssing this gap

Maybe my expectations are to high but i am not sure anyone at the company can defend the level of the share price from a few years back to today. What do others think? Is it performing to expectations?

I agree with Homebrew - something flaky about management! (Bit like CBUY - promise the earth for years and well ........) I hope the 24/7 purchase goes ahead and then with all competitors gone they get taken over.

pet lover, I may well be wrong (and I could still come back) but I currently feel more confident with my other investments.
I'm also not 100% convinced by the CEO and increasingly I view the CEO and management team as the most important part in the businesses I'm looking at.

6.87 to buy 100,000.
So below quoted price. Buyers out in force?

Come on, share price performance over the last few years has been poor. Where is the shareholder value?
