I hosted a SENS webinar for ShareSoc on Thursday afternoon. Interesting company, but one of the asides the CEO said was how the focus is swinging from curing disease to anticipating and preventing disease.I've always thought a huge market for 4D would be prophylactics: developing products that can be taken specifically to reduce the likelihood of certain symptoms developing. If you had a parent or sibling suffering from neurodegenerative disease, wouldn't you want to be treated before symptoms arose? And in terms of the cost for society, isn't it much cheaper to prevent people getting seriously ill than paying for carers and care homes? The potential is mind boggling.

Keytruda list price is £84k per patient and I think there's a leukaemia treatment 3 times that price. Let's think about a product that could slow or even reverse neuro degeneration. Imagine charging enough per patient per year to give £10k profit to 4D. In the UK alone 850k have dementia. If 100k of those were given the treatment that would be £1bn profit. You can argue with the figures but they are pretty conservative. Then extrapolate worldwide. A valuation here of £200m strikes me as the opportunity of a lifetime. £200bn would be closer to fair value
