29/3/2019 07:33 | Trading update; The usual strong performance, though a couple of negatives: Oystercatcher continues to experience softer demand for storage of certain product types. We expect that there may be some improvement over the next year as IMO 2020 comes into force. Infinis continues to be impacted by regulatory uncertainty, including the suspension of capacity market payments.* * | jonwig

31/1/2019 10:17 | Glacial ❄ | hawaly
10/1/2019 14:30 | Latest nav (30/09) was 226.4p, so we're at an 18% premium to that. I'm sure even in headier days, the premium wasn't much bigger. There may be a performance update at the end of this month. | jonwig
07/1/2019 16:34 | @ Plasbryn, hawaly - if you mean "What a Peach", I'd agree heartedly. | jonwig

08/11/2018 07:24 | H1 results: NAV 226.4p. 7.6% premium not excessive and maybe deserves a bigger one considering the outstanding managemnt here! | jonwig

20/9/2018 16:45 | Decent Director buy of 11k shares today, approaching my 2.50 target. Been a long term hold for me. | chc15
30/7/2018 07:53 | Ah! that explains it, thanks Jonwig :) | stevie blunder
30/7/2018 07:22 | Stevie - they didn't buy it, it was owned by Alkane which was bought by 3IN, so they inherited it. | jonwig
30/7/2018 06:58 | That's a strange one, if I have it right, 3in bought 15% of Egdon in April around 5.8p and has sold out now around 10p. Nice work if you can get it, but not really their usual modus operandi! | stevie blunder
27/7/2018 15:19 | Investment of €220m for 50% stake in Tampnet: I've no ideas on the value here - perhaps we should trust the company! (Have done so far!) | jonwig
05/7/2018 12:12 | Headed up again, dyor etc... | energiser01
15/5/2018 05:32 | Citywire summary: Caution may explain fairly muted reaction. | jonwig
13/5/2018 13:27 | yeh I bought some in April, how much higher cam these go?, great results, maybe £2.50 soon? | chc15
11/5/2018 06:58 | Final results: It's not often they wax lyrical, but they've allowed themselves this time! Sizeable dividend increase to 8.65p promised for 2019. NAV of 211p so premium of just 6%. Should it be more like 10%? | jonwig
02/5/2018 14:48 | Continuing to tick up nicely, dyor etc.... | energiser01
12/4/2018 11:28 | dropped a bit lately, good buyng opp for a first timer? | chc15
12/4/2018 10:08 | Bought 40 m shares (15.39%) in Egdon Resources costing about £2.4m. AIM-listed O&G. Must be something in it - doesn't look promising at first sight: EDIT: Ah, I see. It's transfer of ownership of the Alkane shares. So not a market purchase right now. Sorry! | jonwig
29/3/2018 16:24 | @ Huttonr - I suppose 3IN have made a capital gain on some of their investments, hence show a profit in their income statement. In that sense it's a dividend. Had there been a 'return of capital' there would have been a capital reduction exercise; instead they had a share consolidation. For myself, 'I don't give a damn' as my shares are in an ISA. (Thank goodness!) | jonwig |
