10/5/2024 13:50 | Excellent, added a few. | scottishfield
10/5/2024 11:54 | Wow, 200k director purchase today, says it all. | chc15
09/5/2024 10:42 | This has shown phenomenal rise since Capital Markets day a couple of months back. Recent rise pre results overdone, and share price got ahead of itself. Looking at portfolio Royal Sanders and European Bakery could be major assets in a year or two, and of course Action is just phenomenal. Bought at 640p so am very happy. | jerseyman1
09/5/2024 10:17 | Excellent 15.1% div increase, 61p against 53p for 23. | anhar
09/5/2024 10:08 | 2.1% is not a bad yield, esp in a growth stock.Action is still growing strongly and that is what you are paying for.If you had invested a few years ago, your yield would be 2,3 times what it would be if you bought today.Very happy holder. And happy to reinvest nice fat dividends!!! | kennewil
09/5/2024 10:02 | If this goes near 27, I'm buying more. | chc15
09/5/2024 09:01 | Not a short IMO - it's arguably overpriced on valuation grounds (see premium to NAV) but not sure it's actually going to go wrong operationally. | eigthwonder
09/5/2024 08:39 | NAV 2085p; Divi 61p; Sp 2850p... Clearly Action has been a great investment; and clearly I've totally misread this one when assuming 2000p was too high in view of the premium. But now? A yield at the miserly level of 2.1% and the NAV premium a gigantic 26.8%! Has to be a sell surely; but unsure whether to short it... | skyship
09/5/2024 08:38 | The usual dip on decent results, always happens. Good update, although thought the NAV could be bit higher, all good though. | chc15
08/5/2024 10:56 | Oh thank you anhar! Very helpful. | hazl
08/5/2024 10:38 | You are confusing III with 3IN, which has announced today, but that's a different share though related to III. Easily done but they are two separate shares with different investment strategies. Their full names are 3i Infrastructure PLC (3IN) and 3i Group PLC (III). The board for 3IN is Hope this clarifies what is I'd agree a rather confusing situation. | anhar
08/5/2024 10:35 | I have already seen it on investegate. IMO | hazl
08/5/2024 10:32 | No, tomorrow | anhar
08/5/2024 08:08 | Err today? | hazl
07/5/2024 12:05 | 2024 results out 09 May. | anhar
07/5/2024 09:57 | Cheers, the buying here has been strong, will see 30, I'm not sure how much higher, 33 possibly? all depends on what they do with Action. | chc15
07/5/2024 08:07 | Well done CHC15 | scottishfield
17/4/2024 15:30 | Sold most of mine a yr ago at what seemed a healthy profit , worried about the dominance of one share in the portfolio. Glad I held onto some, but sell and regret comes to mind! | wad collector
05/4/2024 14:18 | I actually bought more of this earlier today, madness maybe, but can't see anything better. | chc15
26/3/2024 14:40 | Unbelievable! I agree. Misses and I had 7% of our SIPPs in this since 2015. Keep knocking the froth off. Never saw this coming. Now in our late 70’s our tickers are too delicate to simply sit tight. What a ride! I’ll just buy some boring gilts before sitting back in the deckchair! | penandnen
22/3/2024 15:06 | OCI is at 30% discount to NAV .ARGGHH!! | davebowler
21/3/2024 18:55 | Indeed, I was worried that any bad news would have tanked 3i, but Burrows confidence has been right all along on Action. So then what's the next step, to keep Action or list it separately. I'm sure the bankers are working on ways to line their coffers here. | chc15
21/3/2024 18:37 | Cheers Blippy. I have now seen the presser. Action continues to perform like one of those business plans we all get from time to time which assumes accelerating growth in sales, margin and economies of scale, and you end up with profits the size of the GDP of Switzerland in 5 years. Except that's what Action is actually doing! Remarkable. | jerseyman1
21/3/2024 18:12 | I've said many times before, the institutional demand for this stock is crazy, it fits many portfolio styles, so it has to be bought - and they would be buying at these levels, so expecting much more! | chc15 |
