Nothing to say Redpin?,Just like the rest of us wondering when are these results coming out.
Could be keeping them for there 1st anniversary on the 20th January?. They have until end of february to publish them at the latest under AIM rules.
Another few sell today, someone getting fed up waiting?.
Wole, I wonder who the protected trade was for selling the 100k?.Redpin?.

I'm gonna guestimate based on interims and recent expansion that TLG will enjoy a 20% rise in turnover taking FY T/O to circa £4.5M. No guesses re profits but I sort of hope about 10% of T/O... which would represent a 5.65 fold profit growth.

Hi wole, yes it is a quiet company. No newsflow and that is the reason that I did not buy. Management looks better than average though and finances look okay........ I'll buy a few as a punt.

Hi Alan - good to meet you! IMO, the long term prospects are enviable. Buying a few is a good idea. Just 47M shares in issue, they've got about 100 buses/coaches and are heavily expanding in Wales and South West. In these days while the trains are so unpredictable and local coach services are replacing train services only TLG know how much they've raked in. And being such a quiet company not too many people hold shares in it. Once profits start flowing a mega run will commence. Think about it...

Here is an exert from National Express trading update,

The group said it is pleased with trading at its West Midlands bus operations.

In Coventry, National Express was the first public transport operator to sign a public transport Concordat which sets out a partnership agreement between the City Council, Centro and the group.

It said its coach division experienced "a particularly strong" second half despite the challenges the tourist travel market faced in 2003.

Read this regarding passenger numbers on First Cymru, another South Wales bus company:-

"First Cymru is one of several bus operators to invest in buses for Wales after a surge in passenger numbers with the introduction of free travel for pensioners and disabled people in April last year.

First Cymru says its business has grown by 10% since the free travel was organised by the Welsh Assembly Government"

Hopefully TLG have seen similar growth...
