Lots of juicy news on the horizon for Nio inc Mercedes interest.. just announced their expansion into German, Dutch, Danish and Swedish Markets plus project ‘firefly’; = building on their NIO learnings to date, a new sub brand of good looking, tech savvy electric cars aimed at the European value market retailing at £23,500.

A new Ford focus will currently cost you £26k - £39k 🤔

With their 1,100km range battery now being cost engineered, no wonder the share price has broken to the upside so strongly.

Bought into nio in May. Massive breakout in China ev's now and China looks likely to breakout in general and shall reap the benefits of the global breakout that's building throughout the second half of this year.

Nio need to be delivering 20k+ cars per month through this year then 30k-40k+ per month through next year. Hopefully won't run out of cash in the meantime and hopefully mercedes will shed some light on their interest in nio soon.

Future looking very good for now and the UK subscription service launch later this year similar to Volvo subscription service is definitely the way forward. Just need to get some Alfa Romeo styling into their next models and to remove those taxi looking bits from the roof

Bought these into my pension and now sitting on some profit but not doing as as well as my teenage son’s account who bought in, in June 2023!?! Beginners luck maybe 🤔

The 1,100km range battery and auto battery changing stations Nio are now rolling out across China are a potemtial game changer for EV, takes slightly longer than filling up an Internal combustion car at the pumps but leave Tesla in the dust in terms of charge (swap) time & range.

EV cars are going through a bit of bull run.

There are others: XPEV, LI, WKHS and of course TESLA

The lesser known ones have responded to NIO, and NIO probably has awoken from TESLA.

Yes fella. To be honest I didn't start the thread expecting people to use it. I just wanted to be able to use it for checking the charts as I use advfn for my uk shares and there doesn't seem to be a NIO thread. Im happy for open discussions about NIO which I'm long on. Sadly the charts only work if you click on them. If anyone knows how to do a proper thread i would be grateful. There is one for tsla so it must be possible,
