Not sure about transformational but this is a new income that isn't in analysts forecasts because it couldn't be sized.

Excellent news. A breakthrough for the company that could be transformational.

They have markets in the USA Europe and Uk, I would say they are under capitalised outside UK and noted hires mentioned. I have the impression of a good product to get as far as they have in these territories.

Edison update is out and gives a reasonable overview.I don't think they put any figures into their projections for Streetworks which is now in paid trials with potential customers , one of which does 90,000 streetworks a year.It seems to me that this part of the business is on the cusp of possibly being a major, high-margin profit centre and that outcome is not reflected in the projected figures.

Thats my view Gopher. This could be a very interesting year for shareholders. They need a breakthrough somewhere to push things along. Europe and Australia are sluggish.I get the feeling the company is a little undercapitalized. If they threw 50m GBP at things they could get where they are going more quickly.

Replying to my own post after watching the presentation, I would say that the core business is growing at 10% plus but they are very enthusiastic about traffic management planning as a new SaaS revenue stream. CM has bought shares again which is good to see.

They are making decent progress improving the quality of their income streams, developing their offering and are now genuinely profitable, have sufficient cash flow to fund the R&D spend and finance the growth in sales. It is all a bit of a balancing act but progress is solid, opportunities are there and some of them look pretty enticing.

A solid year in the chairs words. The share price has moved within a tight range over the last couple of years and it's difficult to see that changing much although swing to profit should help.

STEADY PROGRESS with some interesting opportunities that may deliver something more transformational in FY24.

Edison see the stock trading on PE of 23 this year and revenue estimates look conservative from this sponsored research. I shall be staying with for another 12 months. Recurring revenue continue to rise and balance sheet sound.

Agree, they are a good outfit with excellent prospects but it just seems to be a long haul.

Agreed, however the market clearly expected stronger revenue (+10%) and ebitda (+17%) growth, and seems to be underwhelmed by outlook comments. a pity as this is a good company doing all the right things, but just not at the pace that the market seems to want

Decent update from SPA. steady progress, confident outlook and recurring revenues now up to 50%. All seems to be moving in the right direction and the valuation looks reasonable. Liberums price target unchanged at 80p.

What is the relevance of being "woman owned" to they get special treatment in the US? Quite a few very successful business women (watch dragons Den), Politics and indeed football amongst other sports. All I keep seeing is positive results and Contract wins for SPA. What's the evidence to suggest otherwise?

Hi sjmarvel,

Please provide references and links to support your claims.

It's always a good thing to have someone with a more sceptical view point to balance the discussion on the bb. Overwhelmingly positive group-think can be detrimental to ones wealth. It would be useful to a better understanding of your point if you can provide some more detail/rationale.

Regards Maddox

Can't find any details of this apple/google solution. Also, the NG911 deals SPA have signed are for 4-7 year terms so doesn't sound like the states know about it either.

Your only posts have been to slag of this company for the last 5 years so you'll need to provided a bit more evidence.

What do you have against 1spatial anyway?

Google & Apple have a NG911 solution that Congress will mandate, what does this mean for 1SPA!

It's been puzzling me how a wholly owned UK entity has been able to sell solutions to US Federal and State entities .
It transpires the US 1SPA entity was a US woman owned small business that had special dispensations and privileges to sell into Federal and State entities. The entity was acquired by 1SPA in 2015 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of a UK plc, have we enjoyed the small woman owned privileges without meeting the conditions?
Have the board not informed the US authorities?
