16/2/2018 05:41 | over the night on 1h consolidation of the LTC happened. RSI from almost 80 back to normal. Up over the weekend. up to 245 eur/ltc possible imho. now 174 (ev. gap at 160 tested) confirmed by usd BTC staying at 10.000 | odvod

15/2/2018 14:25 | its bouncing from satoshis preordained support (he emailed me about 5900 ;) 10300 and 11000 are next ST hurdles for bulls | tpaulbeaumont
14/2/2018 23:31 | For BTC lots of potential stopping points on the way. The 13600 would be a 50% retrace and the top of the first big down candle. 11900 something like a 100% gain from the last dip - good time for even the committed to self half and let the rest run for free. It happens to coincide with a previous band of support, which could well become resistance. Or it could be timing - whatever happens to litecoin happens and the rumour buying turns into fact selling. | hpcg
14/2/2018 23:29 | As Warren Buffett said recently: "I would love to be able to buy a 5 year Put Option on crypto-currencies, but I wouldn't dare short them." In the long-term I'm pretty sure they're all toast, but an all time high beforehand is quite possible I guess. | chinahere
14/2/2018 23:07 | sure - it's not a given that an ath will happen. a double top etc is more probable. | mcbeanburger
14/2/2018 22:32 | No way a new all time high, or if there is it can only be in one coin not across the board. There simply isn't the money inflow. Even should the insiders be able to walk the tape up there will be an overwhelming balance of sellers to buyers at that level. To echo random, ultimately it comes down to money flow. Quite publicly this is market where buying high and selling low is for losers, and the sharks buy low and sell high whilst encouraging new buyers to hodl come what may. That market runs out of said losers eventually. | hpcg
14/2/2018 19:33 | in about 3 weeks? that's got to get spad posting none stop. i told you so i told you so i told you so i told you so | mcbeanburger
14/2/2018 19:25 | actually mcb, I was just thinking about a new ath! The lower high in Jan does present the alternate possibility, a failed retest of the ath. with tether.to down, there is less inflow to keep the market inflated. the crypto market is a very complex thing, but currently seems to be behaving like a casino with a fixed number of chips. There are about 1.5 Bln USDT. That represents a lower valuation of the crypto market (is there a way to estimate the USD flows????). Once thing is sure, the USD tax laws/options ensure crypto is synced to the main market ... ... and yes, a new time ath! (single resistance) but when? ;-) | random
14/2/2018 19:16 | Chart reversed on that pin bar, thought it would confirm quicker, looks a bit flaggy but I am still holding and positive. BWTFDIK If you guys want some Plus1 coin to play with I will give first 2 wallet addresses posted 5 coins each. | sideshowbull

14/2/2018 07:34 | LTC decouple from other main coins to the up overnight (15 % up while others did almost nothing). and BTC third time knocking on 7.400 EUR barrier LTC had similar formation to break and it did it. so BTC might follow. important words that I just wrote - BTC following LTC. Lets see if true under the test of time | kaos3
13/2/2018 14:10 | important meeting tomorrow - so crypto will be subdued until then. | mcbeanburger
13/2/2018 13:22 | ... to add to the confusion, the cryptonight coins (which I mine) are seeing seeing skyrocketing diff, and low prices. So I sell them as I mine them, and trade USDT/USD ... easy pickings :-) | random
13/2/2018 11:31 | random - the correlation between coins on a daily basis is confusing, but IMO just shows that the market has no fundamental basis. I think XRP is the safest long term short as it really has no use case, but as the ebbs and flows of the markets are on sentiment one has to just use the chart and look for good setups. Bitcoin itself has true adherents and so that surely has the most legs. Its downfall is cost and the inefficiency of blockchain. Money has to drain out just to pay for electricity and computers. I still think BTC leads the market direction, but very much worth looking at relative charts as well as USD charts to find the relative strength and weakness and act appropriately. | hpcg |
