14/3/2018 17:26 | if they did it would be a massive blow off. institutional buying suggest they know something. as ever we'll see. | mcbeanburger
14/3/2018 17:24 | ok hands up i didn't read it. just read the tittle. blush. otherever.... "Smith adds that central banks will most likely buy Bitcoin and Ethereum – the two most popular cryptocurrencies in the world – as part of their reserves" most unlikey but they can't really stop it either. | mcbeanburger

14/3/2018 16:33 | btc - still in the range - still see institutions soaking it up. we'll see. | mcbeanburger
14/3/2018 00:16 | btc - hr and 4hr charts are suggest institutional buyers are soaking up all the retail sellers. the more this goes on the more it's going the other way. i'm doing this off bitstamp so maybe wrong. not say its a buy but need to look at it both ways. | mcbeanburger
13/3/2018 11:39 | USDT is the coin of the moment ... XRP starting wave 5 down? BTC 8400- is a bloodbath .... (XRP extended iii of 3 down looks more accurate) ... there are few bullish counts .... fade any strength imho. | random
13/3/2018 11:01 | Another interesting thing is how all the monero clones are homing in on the same mining profitablity per hash, with very few out performing xmr. Coins without active commits have less value, imho. What is intrinsic value? With a stock it can be calculated, with a currency the calculations are dubious. With a commodity there is a relationship with the replacement cost. With a POW coin, there is replacement cost, which is commodity like, but the diff relationship is not like a real commodity. However tight the supply of an individual coin, forks dilute this, but what is the value equation? Is it identical to a stock split? With POS, fully mined coins, etc, the value seems far more nebulous (access to special markets is about the only "value" I can see ... similar to the way zynga poker chips have resale value ...). It seems there is a confusion imho. Intrinsic value v Fiat value. Zynga chips have only fiat value (no other chips can be used to play and they can't be mined). A grey market price is easily obtained, but is there any other way to value the chips? Discount to full zynga price? (which is arbitrarily set!). With coins such as XRP (with intrinsic valuation is zero) ... does it have a fiat value? Are there any markets XRP allows unique access to, and what it is USD value of that market? The entanglement of POW (which have intrinsic value) and fully mined (fiat value) in the same sector is creating a supremely chaotic market! Masari is trading stabily now ... Dero, otoh is suffering from high volatility. I'm switching up my mining to avoid too much exposure to one coin and high diff. Some of the coins which are not popular in the xmr community are Fonero, ETN, Sumo, Edollar and others ... they make a mess of good code, and add nothing back. Of intrinsic value coins, UNO shines through. It's rare and valuable as a result. It's chart is incredible, recent new highs. It's up today (ath a few days ago). Time to swap some krapkoin I think ... (well it was up lol) | random
13/3/2018 06:38 | I Agree. There is a nice bullish triangle on the LTC weekly that could see a sharp move up once 225/230 is taken out. Target would be 400p imo. Only bearish with a weekly close below 145. | suffersnofools
13/3/2018 06:18 | on LTC which I trade I see on 4h higher lows and slightly higher highs for an attck to recent hihgs. so do not agree. general monthly indicators arestil on the up. which I tend to respect. on awarega I must be long as long it is on the up. and weekly. why I focus on LTC? it has slightly higher volatility so is better to trade. it has double the trading volume of the next two higher capitalisation kryptos. so much better liquidity. it has an utillity (litepay, liting network, faster etc) with a competent leader to make fast and effective leading it follows BTC in trading - for that one I am too slow with my eastern european strawberry internet | kaos3
13/3/2018 01:02 | btc - daily candle didn't do enough - time to look at shorting rallies. there's an outside chance that this could be reversed into a long but highly unlikely. | mcbeanburger
12/3/2018 19:02 | on the forks/politics there is this interesting tweet exchange ... Masari Retweeted Masari @masaricurrency Replying to @fluffypony Riccardo's comments are humbling! Looking forward to making this (agreeably critical and code review sensitive) pull request better in whatever ways necessary to meet the standards for getting into Monero's production code base Mar 6, 2018 Masari Retweeted Riccardo Spagni ✔ @fluffypony Even if this never gets past the Monero Research Lab’s review (its consensus critical after all) *THIS* is how you give back to a parent project you’re fork from. | random |
